Good news although this has to be the most confusing post ever. Just hope that this time the rescue centre ensures Louie is micro chipped.

LOUIS HAS BEEN FOUND!!!
THINGS AND DATES do not just add up and there has been a lot of deatils given that were not correct- thats all i will say!!!

He has been in rescue in west sussex coming from a pound in Kent and has been there much earlier.................

Team Ilbrey K9 Partners ‎21st June he went missing?!? We've had him since 12th and also he would have been in pound 10 days before that....

SAY NO MORE !!!

He was in a rescue well spotted by helpers. Massive thanks to Luci James who has done a lot to find him.

Hi Jane

Just got in from work and this is Louie, been getting texts all night at work and confirmed it is him :-) he is now safe. Tania via Luci has spoken to Team Ibrey K9 and all sorted I believe xxx just when all hope was starting to fade,
how the hell he ended up on the kent border god alone knows, but now we know he is alive, well and loved and above all else safe :-)

Big thanks to all at doglost, all the volunteers and in particular Luci James your volunteer under the guidance of Chris xx

There has been reports of posters being taken down in areas where helpers have spent time and money to assist find this dog.

This dog although adopted belongs to rescue and they want this dog found and they are asking doglost to assist.
If anyone sees posters removed please advise doglost or nearest dogwarden.
They have no right to do this and will not help find him.

There is a high possibility that Louie has been picked up and is now in Ashford, Kent. Could admin possibly send this out to TN postcodes please? It is not 100% but we have had a new lead that places him in TN23 area. Thank you

walked around the school for 2 hours this morning, saw nothing, but did hear what could have been a pup in the distance. the train and traffic noise made it impossible for me to work out where it was coming from and it could easily have been a different dog in one of the houses near the school. The gravy bones I left last night were still there but then there must have been some food left about after the sports day yesterday that might have been more tasty. a few flyers had been ripped down but i've replaced them with more red tape. I've run out of ink so can't do any more printing till i've gone to morrisons later today. Once printer is up and running again i can do more posters for tonights search. I'm trying to borrow a barbecue for tonight but I'm not having much luck so if any one can bring one along I'll get the sausages!
I do think it's worth following up the Faversham sighting cause the area around the school has had several loose dogs in the area in the past.
really hope we find Louie tonight xx

Ive just had a call from a lady stating the following:
"As I picked up my husband from work, I saw a young lad come out of Faversham train station with a puppy matching Louie's description. He walked up the road and met a girl outside the co-op. my husband made a fuss of the puppy who appeared very nervous"
This MAY or MAY NOT be Louie. The lady will watch out for them again tonight when she picks up her husband again. This MAY be a new lead but please continue to look in Herne Bay. It may be worth sharing with Faversham areas too just in case. Thank you

Thank you so much xx

Been out since 5am with the dogs looking all around the school area, there were a few spots inside the school fence that Barney found very interesting! I was out for nearly 2 hours but didn't see anything BUT one of the piles of gravy bones had gone, this could mean a happy fox just got lucky or Louie has had some food (the gravy bones were left in a place only a small animal like Louie could get to). I've re-loaded the gravy bones and will go and have another look in a while. The posters and flyers are all still up so when the parents drop the kids off at school, it should create quite a buzz.
We really need to create a buzz on this one so if those that are too far away to actively search or poster would you be kind enough to share Louie's poster on every Herne Bay related page you can think of please?
Great big hugs to all you Louie-lovers out there! xxx

NEW SIGHTING!!!!
While I was putting up posters around Hampton School a lady said she saw Louie this morning at around 7am from her window. He was again in clarendon Street but running in the opposite direction from Saturdays sighting towards Sea Street.
We're going to take our Greyhound out with us and look at 6.45pm cause he just loves puppies and turns into 'Nanny' from Peter Pan when there is one about. He's no tracker but it's worth a try! fingers crossed we find this little lost lamb xx

I have been asked to update Louie's collar details . . they are as follows:
"Louie is (should be) still wearing his collar and tag, the collar is camoflage (green and brown) and the tag is a heart shaped tag with Cat Gisby tel no and name"
There may be an address too but not sure about that.
kat2228
Right people Louie would walk with cat most days to her mums house x her route which although looks big isn't in reality and is 10-15 min walk. The route from Louie's house is kings road into park road through memorial park exiting on station road along the circus onto fleet wood avenue onto sea street onto grand drive. Same route back home. Whilst in grand drive would walk to Hampton area x the route is roughly only half a mile (less as the crow flies) can anyone in here please add this route to doglost for all the volunteers to pick up on.

A big thank you to Angus for sending out an alert to the whole CT postcode area. Although Herne Bay is only up the road, down here in Thanet we don't normally get these alerts.

Have a lot of connections with people in Herne Bay and Whitstable and have circulated Louie's details on Twitter. Really hope this dear little boy is back home in the warm very soon.
