  • Other Info Doogie is a rescue dog who was on a walk when he ran off. The area is very rural. He is very afraid, especially of humans & loud noises. He likes to find corners to hide in. He is not motivated by food & treats. He will not come when called but does like to be cuddled when you are close to him. If you see him please call the owner asap. Thank you.

Had word back from the Equine Centre (see previous posting) - they will keep a look out for Doogie, and will also ask people in the village to do the same. Hope this helps xx

So very sorry to hear that Doogie is missing. We are a bit out of the way here, but we have sent the link to Roewood Equine Centre, which is in the area where Doogie may be. We are asking them to keep an eye open for Doogie. It's very worrying, as there are two very fast, very busy A roads on the outskirts of the woods- keep safe, Doogie, and hopefully you'll be reunited with your owners very soon.

In the meantime, it would be well worth you asking local radio to put alerts out for you, so the drivers will hear on their way home from work and be careful driving round there. Hope you get some good news xx

BBQ is a good idea. He might not be that food orientated normally but some nice sausages will be more appealing as he gets hungry.

Spoke to owner she has contacted DW, vets, chip company. Maybe an ad on the radio or in the paper might help. I did suggest a BBQ but he is not that keen on food.
