Hi everyone I have not logged on for sometime I have been busy training my new puppy Hugo. He certainly doesnt replace Louis but its great to have a pug in the house again, although Hugo is all black, he is gorgeous!!!! Louis didnt have a black tummy! Julespug said there maybe some news - you can ring whenever or email me if you want to tell me more - thanks!!!!!

Hi Whippet... person who saw the man said he was in the pub carpark with 4 other dogs (3 large 1 small) and a pug .. never seen man in area before and never since...... we have taken posters to all the vets in area....it may not of been Louis!!!!!!!

Thanks again all who want to help find Louis - I thought I was going to pick him up today after a tip-off I had - but it wasnt him - He was very much like him - I held him in my arms saying his name - knowing that it wasnt him - but willing it to be him - it was awful...... After ad in the local paper owner has been called to say a youg woman has been seen recently with a Pug dog-they say there is no way she could afford one and admits she does not have any papers-she lives in Stone, near Aylsebury-not to far away! Will update local helpers!

I am just outside Eaton Bray and drive through it twice a day, also surrounding villages. Poster are up, is there anything I can do to help. I have 4 dogs and would love to help in anyway with finding this little boy or in any other way that would be of assistance to anyone else.

I have just been told there has been another sighting of a pug in Hardwick Bucks - I am waiting for a phone call to confirm this and to get more info - I have phoned all the vets in the area - so they have all his details - I will update you all ASAP - hoping & praying for all our doggies to come home soon.............

We are going to a greyhound rescue day at Hitchin to help remind people about Luci. We will use the opportunity to publicise some of the local dogs that are still missing and we have Louis on our flyers which we will hand out to everyone.

Could not make it to Hardwick last night - so rang the pub - the owner told me the man who had the pug also had a chihouwa and three other dogs all on harnesses in car park - I couldnt get hold of the lady that rang me in Spain either - but I need to confirm story with her then pursue this- will keep you updated......

Hi Jake & Molly - thank you for your kind e-mail - I feel for you - we are feeling very down at present - it is louis first birthday tomorrow and he wont be with us - i am sure we will shed a tear or two!!!!! Possible sighting of Louis last night outside the old Jug pub in Hardwick, Bucks-following local newspaper coverage. Local helpers will be e mailed. Spotted with a man walking 4 other dogs-This man has not been seen with the Pug before. Please helpers in this area print out and display posters as owner is in Spain and naturally very concerned.

Hi Whippet - the kennels say they are doing all they can - they have put flyers and posters around and they are the nearest rescue home obviously........ he has vanished into thin air........ I called three counties radio today to see if they would put it on air- said they would do there best- not heard anymore!

What I want to know is are the kennels doing anything positive to look for Louis? If not why not??? Did Louis have a bit of whippet in him that he could run so fast that they could not catch him? I do not know a lot about pugs but I have never thought of them as fast runners. He looks a sweet little dog maybe someone has found him and taken him in would flyers through doots help?

I have done another search of the area today! Visited 3 travellers sites and gave them posters of louis- they were very helpful-will call me if they see or hear anything. the kennels have stuck to there story that louis slipped his lead- so where the hell is he!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know which kennels Louis was in but on the road to Leighton Buzzard in Billington there is a farm not far from some boarding kennels. The gentleman at the farm was quite helpful when we were looking for the travellers sites. It may be an idea to ask him to look in his barns. Posters all around Billington and Little Billington may help if this has not already been done. Sorry cant help during the day, work commitments.

Hi Louis's Mum, we understand how you must be feeling, just wish there was more we could do but with no sightings it is difficult to know where to look. Do we know the exact spot where he disappeared? We did a circle around those kennels this afternoon and wonder whether we should be concentrating on the area back and beyond the kennels as we presume they do not walk along the road. We put a poster on the road junction at the back.

I would hope the kennels are maintaining a lookout for this Pug. They should be leaving food and water out just in case he returns to the area he was lost from. Often they hang about in the vacinity and return to the sound of the other dogs. Has the owner returned and laid scent trails or is this a breeders dog? anyone know? Wishing Louis all the luck Ann

We have postered and we checked out the area. There were some posters up from petlog around Eaton Bray. Seems to us that a pug does not run fast so he could not have gone too far, would have expected the kennels to have searched the area immediately that would have been the best chance of catching him.

Not too sure! Kennel maids say he slipped his lead-but not sure he had a collar on???? Owner does not know the full story-but even genuinely stray dogs do not seem to hang around long in this area.
