There has been a possible sighting of her in Kidderminster at 2.00am this morning by Sainsburys Supermarket. She is a friendly dog but she is also an escape artist, so if found she may try to escape. PLEASE contact the owner with any info/sightings of her. Thank you.

Bounce has been caught!!

She was found yesterday by a local farmer in one of his sheds. He took her into the vets this morning where they knew about her from the poster that they had. Roger has now been to collect her and she's back home like nothing has happened LOL!!

There has been a terrific effort from people all over the country to help catch Bounce (and also Beardie Meg from Wales who ironically was also caught yesterday) so thanks to you all for your help and support to Roger.

Well done Team Bounce XX

Latest update: It's almost certain that Bounce is in a particular area and a trap should be going up soon. Please can everyone involved in the search, whether in person or those that are alerting people by emailing posters hang fire for a while as we're a bit worried that to many people around may cause her to move on. She's likely to be in feral mode now, very flighty and probably will run from people or attempts to catch her. At the moment she has food and shelter and will hopefully stay there long enough to be caught. Thanks.

Message from ShirleyHinchcliffe:-The owner is worried people may scare Bounce away by calling or grabbing her. He is taking advice and going to do food stations and go out at Dawn. Trying to get a trap over

Msg just received:

This morning there has been fairly definite sighting of Bounce. She is within two miles of her owners house so doesn't seem to have left the area. She has spent most of the time whilst missing near a garage and in the garden of an adjacent house.

The sighting came from someone who had seen the poster in the doctors and owner has been down and talked to the people involved who are almost convinced it is Bounce and is spending time in the area himself. Owner will keep us posted on events and is aware there are a number of people who would be willing to turn out if needed. Many thanks to you all.

I went up to Burlish Top tonight to have a look round just as it was dropping dusk. I met up with a lovely couple with three gorgeous beardies also looking, probably the people mentioned in the post below. Sadly we didn't see any sign of Bounce, or any other unaccompanied dog :(
pixies peeps
Someone from the Friendly beardie forum went up tonight but no sighting. Saw posters with phone nos to ring in the reserve car park.(to report any sightings)

Thanks a lot Jan.

I work for one of the local authorities in Worcestershire and we get daily alerts from the dog warden regarding all dogs picked up within the Worcs boundary. Not in work until Wednesday but have asked my colleagues to let me know if a report comes in. Checked local area Sat and Sunday and have alerted local farms and dog walkers to keep an eye out for her. Hope she is found soon.

Also, a message via Facebook of a long haired brown Collie/Retriever sized dog spotted at Burlish Top last night. Possibly Bounce could be mistaken for a brown dog if she's muddy.

pixies peeps
Have told the fbc forum this and given them the link. Several of the members were searching and postering this weekend and are in touch with the owner. I understand all vets in Kidderminster are displaying the poster. Also I understand she must have gone in a car to Kidderminster as it is across the river .
B30
Thanks pixies peeps. If anyone can help with posters you can download and email them directly from this page.

Hoping for some sightings soon so that we have an idea of where she is now.
pixies peeps
I have asked people on the beardie forum in the near areas if they can ask their vets to put posters/details up and give to any associates/ partners. May have already been done but two is better than none .
B30
I will be having a good look at this today and discussing with Lizzy what we can do to help out.
pixies peeps
Still no sightings.Shirley thinks it is a possibility she was stolen and lost again in Kidderminster and all kennels near to home and kidderminster both need checking daily.I understand the owner is going to phone the local dogs home but is anyone local able to check out them each day. I personally live in Sussex so don't know any of them. Thanks Last edited: 2012-07-01 20:04:31 by pixies peeps

This is practically on my doorstep so will alert my staff (who are out riding in the area every day) to keep an eye out. The sighting in Kidderminster seems unlikely unless someone picked her up and then lost her again - it's about 10 miles.

Have asked for photo so he will get his daughter to sort it out over the weekend.

Spoke to owner, DW has been informed and vets have been contacted and also local dog rescues and the pound has been contacted. Owner is going to contact the local radio and I will check sites on the internet for him. The area is quite rural where he lives but I have suggested some postering if possible. Owners daughter is coming over from Dubai this weekend so he will ask her to do some sorting out for him.
