have just heard back from south eastern OES club who have very kindly added a link to this site and have put a "plea" on the front page of the club site. Any update from the owners of this fella and/or a genuine photo? I just have an interest in this little guy cos I love the breed!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was contacted about this boy when he went missing last summer. He is an OES lookalike and his markings are brown. We are not sure if he is docked or not so please keep this in mind as he may not look exactly like an OES. ElaineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, following on to my last message - have emailed alot of clubs and have found this list below and cut-and-pasted into this message - hope this will help the owners if they havent already tried the below. I also found an interesting site www.giveusahome.co.uk, there appears to be alot of OES there and alot of people asking for them in Kent area - maybe worth having a look and doing some detective work on that - I have only just registered with doglost site so thats why I have only just seen this little fella Harry. Best of luck and will keep tabs on him via this site - Martine xx List as follows: North East Old English Sheepdog Rescue Mrs K Coggins, Chester-Le-Street, Co Durham. Sorry to hear about this beautiful chap - I have had these dogs for many years and they are adorable. They have a distinctive bark - Just a thought if anyone hasn't already thought of it - is Harry clipped or long - if he was clipped when he was lost he could be very soon looking a little different both in coat length and condition. These dogs are my breed so like to say they are incredibly rare and would stand out as easily distinguishable especially a handsome boy. What are the rest of his markings like and has he got a tail or docked? Just wanted to mention that - sorry not local would love to be able to help more xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
