- I had a text reply from owner's sister (who registered Freddie) to say that owner thought he wouldn't have survived as he is so frail. As we all know dogs can very resilient. I am still really happy to drive over to help, but need more info as to where to come. It must be worth searching. Come on Freddie!

- I've postered the bus top at Lizard Village, telegraph pole near the Lizard Post Office, telegraph pole at the double hedge path that leads to Kynance and Lizard Downs, all places where walkers have to pass, and also The Lizard Cider Barn.
Is he likely to have headed in to the fields towards Cadgwith or gone on to The Lizard Downs.Last edited: 2012-07-04 18:11:54 by Springerrob - 2012-07-04 16:54 Karen
- Lorna, many people from Team Kip lit barbiques and put sausages on them so he could follow the smell have you tried that being as he has a sight and hearing impairment; also do you know anyone local with a tracker dog as they were used as well xx Karen

- I wish I lived down there too, would be out there now searching. Any news, sightings?
I have shared on my FB page and several others in the South West. Stay safe Freddie xx - 2012-07-04 14:19 acarr
- Oh my god I would give anything to be able to jump into the car and come and help search, my thoughts with be with you until he is found. As a team Kip member I will nbe trying to think of ways to help. IF you need any help with coordinating I'm stuck in the house pretty much bedridden so that's the only thing I could do. Sending my love tho x

- There isn't an awful lot 1 mile north of the village. I will share with a few people I know who live near there and will know others. Suggest posters at the cider barn, lizard village, the holiday parks and shops at mullion and kennack caravan park,,local stores at ruan, tesco and the chip shop in helston and the pub restaurant in cadgewith, flambards among others. Can't imagine therebeing too many postcodes to cover this area, its pretty much locked in by the sea on 3 sides and river to the north

- Jayne - I'd suggest alerts to TR12, TR13, TR10 and TR11 for starters. Area of loss is down on the Lizard peninsula.
I've phoned number above - it cut out, then got voicemail so have left a message with my numbers and offer of help. I'm about 25 miles/45 minutes away. - 2012-07-04 10:47 SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- Oh poor Freddie, hope you will be back with your family very soon x
