Still poorly and being cared for at the vet surgery so please keep sending the healing, prayers and Reiki.
ClaireC
Hi, just wondered how Jenson was getting on? xx
Beaglemum
I have been sending Reiki to dear Jenson and hope he keeps fighting on. Beagles are very tough and I know he can get through this xxx.
BonBon
Thanks for the update, Lyns. So pleased there is at least a little bit of good news and I hope, as I know everyone else does, that Jenson continues to respond. He is obviously a fighter. Long may that last. Keeping everything crossed for good test results. tomorrow. Carole
SuzeeBee
Come on Jenson you lovely boy, you have so many people wishing you well and sending you love and best wishes for a full recovery. With the help of the lovely vet and nurses you can do it. Please keep us posted Lyns. Love to you and dear Jenson xxxx

So glad he has been found - think I posted on FB. Sorry to hear he is poorly hoping the test results come back ok xx Healing thoughts being sent your way xx Thanks for the updates :)
mathers22
How lucky to be found when he was don't think he could have survived much longer. Good Luck Jensen you've come so far!! xx
Tiga
That's brilliant news Lynsey, just what we all wanted to hear. Come on Jenson some way to go yet but you can do it.
Lyns
Just actually spoke to the vet. Jensen has started to respond to treatment. It is still very early days in a long recovery but this is really good news. He still can't eat but they are going to put a tube into his tummy to bypass his ulcerated mouth. This should help to steady his gut.
Lyns
Hi thank you for all the lovely messages. He is suffering from very severe kidney failure and We should have the results tomorrow as to whether they can be salvaged. In the mean time Jenson is warm and safe and on pain relief so he is very comfortable. Last edited: 2012-09-18 11:25:12 by Lyns

Great news...
DogLostOwl
Indeed he has, Jenny just called. Lynsey has got him and taken him to vet. I am sure she will update later.
Sue S
I've just seen on Facebook that he's been caught.
DogLostOwl
No further developments so far, but even if the boy isn't caught this weekend there has been a major breakthrough in that we know he is still running round the same area so plans can be made to catch him. He has dropped some weight but is running well and appears sound.
BonBon
Just checking to see if any overnight news before I head off out. Hoping for good news when I return.
BonBon
Owl, Thanks for the update. Everything crossed he does as we all want. Carole
DogLostOwl
There are about 100 runners at this event, together with their supporters and lots of dogs. They are camping close to where Jensen went missing and of course they are all cooking and barbecueing for themselves. The smell has attracted Jensen which is what we hoped. Among the competitors are Jenny (helper JB) with tracker dog Tiga. Jenny has made sure that everyone there knows about Jensen. We are hoping he may come to the campsite late, after people have gone to bed, to seek food.
Angel
Excellent news! Hope he's home real soon.
BonBon
Lyns - so pleased that there has finally been a sighting. Have you been able to get over there and leave his bedding or some of your clothing? Hopefully, he will pick up your scent and stay in the area. Unfortunatley, I am out all day tomorrow but I will have my mobile with me so please phone 07771643316 and update me then I will try to get over there on Monday to help search. Time to give yourself up,Jenson. Carole
Lyns
Can confirm the spotted dog is Jensen. Near the car park area at buttersteep rise

Thanks Sue. Have let owner know. Really do hope this brings some good news. Angelmort - agree with your comments. So important to poster far and wide as we all know just how easy it is for our dogs to 'travel'. Carole
Angel
Hope this brings some news. Lyns, Pixie, who was missing from our area has been returned (after nearly 2 months) after ‘allegedly’ being purchased at Langley Horse Fair which is a weekly Horse fair in Market Road, Langley, Slough every Weds and some weekends in June, Oct & Dec. Might be worth postering around that area. The reward money was obviously more important to the person that returned her than Pixie itself.
B30
Advertised in this weeks Countryman's Weekly magazine.
Lyns
Thanks.
Yes, Surrey and Berkshire dog wardens have been notified
BonBon
Jenson has gone out on the Thames Valley Dogwatch email alert system. Hope this helps in bringing him home safely.
Angel
Hi. Have you told the Berkshire dog warden too? We're on the borders here so if he's been picked up it could have been by either warden. Really hope there's some news soon.
Lyns
No news I am afriad. I will check the posters. I have some more so will do a refresh. I have notified the Surrey dog wardens
BonBon
Is there any news on Jenson? My husband has been over to the Swinley Forest and Englemere Pond areas and has mentioned that he hasn't seen any posters. Appreciate this is a large area and it might just be his eyesight(!) but worth checking posters are still up and visible. Also, did you poster the Look Out area and notify the Surrey dog wardens as it would have been very easy for Jenson to cross the Bagshot Road and move out of the Berkshire area.
BonBon
Sue - have added to CMW list - thank you.
Lyns - DogLost has a weekly advert facility in Countryman's Weekly magazine. Jenson has now been put forward by me to be included asap. I can explain further if you call me. Carole
Lyns
Hi Sue, he is still lost. What do you mean by put on the list?
B30
If still missing please put on the list for a Countryman's Weekly magazine advert
Lyns
Hi yes the microchip company were notified the day he went missing
BonBon
Jill - from my conversation with Lou (2012-07-07 below) I thought Jenson's microchip company had already been contacted. If not, it is essential it is and be asked to log Jenson as lost and that owner is notified if anyone tries to change the registration, which I assume is up to date with correct address and contact tel no.? She also told me that all local vets had been notified. If they haven't you can find full details by clicking on the 'find any UK vet' tab on the right hand side of this page. As previously mentioned, my contact no. is 07771643316 if you need further advice. Carole
JILL
Phoned vets in the Sunninghill/Windlesham area y'day. They said to alert the microchip company and they would send details to all vets nationwide to scan any beagles they get in, but not sure how to do this, which company supplies microchips??
Angel
That's very dissappointing. Come on Jenson, where are you?
JILL
Update on Jenson. The beagle that was spotted in Ascot last week turned out to be a different one...left to roam the streets, but knew his way home, basically neglected, I will report it. So poor Jenson is still out there somewhere...not even 1 sighting yet, very strange, and very sad. Please keep looking everyone.
Lou
A lady has called today to say that earlier in the week a beagle was seen in the evening by her and her husband running toward Swinley bottom on the Ascot racecourse. The contractors were still in dismantling the stands from Royal Ascot and there was some mention that a dog warden had been called as he had been seen on his own. The dog warden is aware he is missing and has not reported to us that anyone has called about a beagle but i will follow this up.
We will be putting more posters up around Watersplash Lane and the Sunninghill Park area as it seems that is the direction he is going in although it is now quite close to home and i would have hoped he would have got back there by now if he is up that way.
Still its another sighting in that Ascot area so fingers very firmly crossed.
DogLostOwl
Bumped to top for sighting.
Lyns
Someone has just seen the posters and called up to say she saw a Beagle running along the pavement of Prides Crossing, Ascot. This was on Tuesday at around 7am. Interestingly this is around the same place and time that a lady in the area heard a dog howling. There are woods around there so we are focusing the search around North Ascot / Cranbourne area
Angel
If you haven't already, ask the cricket club, football and golf club there to open all their sheds / huts to make sure he hasn't sneeked in and give them lots of posters. Hope he's home soon. x
Lyns
No. TBH honest once I looked all round there I am not sure it was him .If he made it to the race course I am 99% sure he wouldve easily made his way back home from there as it is very familiar to him
Angel
Any luck searching the race course and school?
Lyns
To everyone looking. A woman who lives on The Avenue (Ascot) said she heard a dog howling around 5am this morning, and whining a bit later on. She wasnt sure but thought it was coming from either Ascot race track or Papplewick School grounds. It is possible Jenson is trying to find his way home so please extend seach to Racetrack, North Ascot and Cheapside
Lyns
Out now looking for him. I am camped in the car park
Lyns
Hi all we went out today with a tracker dog. We are pretty convinced the scent was found although no sight of Jensen. Most likely places are the car park as well as between the 8-12 hole in the golf couse by a big rhodedendron thicket
Boston
Has Jenny gone out with you today Lyns? I think a couple of other Beagle owners are going up this afternoon. Sarah can't until later this eveining and I will hopefully go up with her then as well.
Lyns
Thanks carol. Lou is keeping me up to date. He is microchipped as well.
BonBon
Lyns - thanks for prompt response. Was any of the info I passed on to your dog walker given to you? Do hope you have some success tomorrow. Just in case Jenson has lost his tag, it is always possible that someone has him and will contact the authorities tomorrow. If you need any further advice feel free to contact me on 07771643316. Good luck tomorrow morning. Carole
Lyns
The owner
BonBon
Lyns - are you the dog walker or the owner? Carole
Lyns
Hi been up every day to no avail. Am meeting with a dog tracker tomorrow morning at 7.30am to try and find him
Boston
Im from the Facebook page Beagles Lost and Found. I live in the area and can help tomorrow morning.
BonBon
Have just spoken with person who was walking Jenson when he snapped his lead and ran off. Fortunately, nothing is trailing. Council, vets etc. have all been informed and the close by railway line has been checked, as has the dual carriageway (A332). Golf club, sawmills, forestry rangers have all been informed and are keeping a look out for Jenson. Have suggested taking some of his bedding or owners clothing and leaving it where he ran off from. Apparently, he has run off before and returned to where he ran from. The lady I spoke to has my number if she needs any further help or advice. This is almost the same area where I spent 4 days looking for reunited Moosemonkey some time back. Posters have been put up. Fingers crossed he is found safe and sound very soon. Carole
ROB
I'll keep my eyes open when out looking for Pixie.
Hope he finds his way back home quickly.
