- Welcome home young lady. I have a Border Collie who could be her twin sister with those markings. She's a daft bitch as well and would take herself off as well!

- Have spoken to owners and Nell is home!!!
the line was very bad so will try for more details later .
She had been taken by the the dog warden to some holding kennels in the Alnwick area and they have been to collect her this morning.
Well done finder for making sure that she was safe and reporting her to the dog warden.

- I am up at NESSR Fair tomorrow, so I will still keep a lookout for her. If she has been given to the Dog Warden she may be in one of the Cat and Dog shelters in Newcastle. You can go there on a Sunday to look and collect. Good luck, hope she is safe xLast edited: 2012-07-14 21:28:16 by BBKM

- To be on the safe side will keep Nell in 'Lost' until we have confirmation that it is definitely her.
Everything crossed that this is the case

- We think we may have found her, a cyclist responded to the posters and said she'd handed her over to the dog warden. We aren't allowed to get her until Monday so I guess it is fingers crossed until then. We'll leave the posters up just in case and take them down if it is her on Monday. Thank you everyone.

- The NESSR are at the Druridge Bay Country Park today so there are a load of dogs around (as well as a burger van throwing out delicious smells) - perhaps Nell picked up their scent. Is it worth alerting the organisers?Last edited: 2012-07-14 14:35:02 by AnnaH

- Nell was discovered to be missing this morning. She usually has the run of the farm with her mother but her mother came back alone. It is thought they may have wandered off the farm as her mother had sand on her.
have advised another thorough search of all the farm buildings and outhouses.
She will be reported missing to the dog warden on Monday. Owners have contacted the dog shelter and local vets.
They are going to start postering the area.
They are going to go out with Nell's mum to see if she can pick up any scent of her.
Have advised that they alert their local 'farmwatch' that Nell is missing.
Please could anyone offering help contact owners via mobile.
Hoping for news of her very soon
