Not long logged on to be able to post an update.

After sharing Copper's details on fb late last night they were seen by Knowsley DW which is brill news. Copper had been reported to the DW as FOUND on Gerrards Lane on Friday and finder looked after him. Spoke to the DW earlier today and it was confirmed Copper had gone home and DW CHIPPED him for FREE which is great. The SIMILAR photo is just what Copper looks like (LOL apart from pic being a female).

Last night and this morning I was liaising with the AW's via email and there was a possible match which was reported to them and think the details were Copper. AW was trying to contact the finder.

I've not had chance to speak to owner yet as do not get home from work until very late on Wednesday but do know he will be over the moon to get him back as thought he would not see him again.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to the DW, finders and to everyone who helped in the search for Copper. There was going to be a postering campaign done over the next few days with myself and Team Ben helpers which thankfully is not needed now. Team Ben helpers have been a great help on the ground in the NW and it is greatly appreciated.

I followed this one up with the AW's this morning in case finder had described him as a cross.

The AW's did reply and it was the Warden's who seen the found so we can cross this one off as a possible match. The found dog will have been taken to Halewood RSPCA.

Owner said he has been checking with the RSPCA everyday, but does still not have Internet at the moment. Like Alfie (now REUNITED Pug) I am sure Copper has been taken in. I will check with Halewood RSPCA tomorrow and share Copper's details on their FB page.

hi Skippy just to let you know liverpool 25 where that other dog has been found is quite close to where copper went missing, also worth a mention that a few years ago my little yorky went missing,he was picked up takin to the police but ended up in manchester dogs home,so just as a long shot it could be worth giving them a ring .

Whilst I would really expect Copper to have been registered as a patterdale, there was a dog on the Animal Wardens site on 13th which may be worth checking out - found not far away I think (guessing from postcode)

hi i live right at the bottom of this road so will keep my eye out at all times ,i will take my dog for a walk up that way too, Gerrards lane is such a busy road i just hope he comes to know halm fingers crossed eyes and ears open xx

Owner does not have Internet at the moment and no photo of Copper.

He describes him has smooth coated, quite leggy, he has a bit of white on his chest and has a docked tail. I will upload a SIMILAR PHOTO a.s.a.p. x
