Have spoken to lady at the Forest Lodge kennels but sadly they are not ours. Both found dogs are bitches, the tri colour has a full tail, the other mainly white has a microchip so hopefully can soon be reunited. Thank you all for your continued support - it is appreciated more than I can say. Perhaps the description of these two could be added to the found page with a link to the kennels?

Bevie Carter if you can try and hang onto them that would be best for them, if they go into kennels their little worlds will be turned upside down. Hopefully the owners will be looking for them. Bless them, I hope they havent been dumped.

Bevie Carter I picked up two border terriers about four years ago running beside the main thorny bypass . I took them home and held them. The owners took a few days but found me and them safe and well. Good luck. Put them on dog lost. XxxX

Felicity Ellen Simpkin the vets have to give them to the dog warden unfortunately as not many vets have the means to hold them. Poor things. I wouldn't want to end there if I was a dog. They'll have 7 days before they are put to sleep if not claimed most likely

Felicity Ellen Simpkin They have to hold them for 7 days I believe so they should be if that's where the dogs were taken. Hopefully you'll be able to get them back

ou are right sues, way too many to be coincidence. Maybe it would help if all owners got togetherto see if there is any one thing in common, maybe a vehicle that was seen in the area, door to door sales or workmen of any kind? Can I ask you to arrange this as I am no where near your area.
sues
Have just noticed another small bitch missing on this site from Hartcliffe area, 6 bitches within 12 miles of each other in two weeks listed on this site alone ~ surely more than coincidental
sues
Thanks for your help, I am going to try to get the local police officer interested as there is another Jack russell bitch and a lurcher bitch missing from Alveston (around 3 miles away) and s jack russell bitch missing from Lawrence Weston (approx 7 miles away) all within 10 days. These are all on this site so goodness knows how many others may be missing.

I've been out both last night and tonight, no sign. I wonder if these sightings could have been of someone using the lane for horses or whatever and taking their dogs with them? A few people I've spoke to have suggested there is at least one terrier along there somewhere and has been for a number of months now. I do find it annoying however that my posters have been removed!!!!!! Not happy will just replace them! :) I'll keep my eyes peeled in surrounding areas over the weekend x

Possible sighting at 8.30 am this morning (Thursday) at Church Road, Severn Beach by lady from local bakery. She has seen the poster and is fairly sure it was them.Last edited: 2012-07-26 10:11:15 by sues

Hi, I have spoken to liver1047 and it was a border collie cross that he saw in Olveston, my missing two are very small jack russells. Thank you all for your help so far Sue
Crystal Moon
Thank you for clarifying liver1047. Olveston is much closer to Ingst and I guess they could have made their way there under there own steam. There are at least 2 small terriers live on Church Road. One occasionally comes out of his/her garden and runs up and down for a while – I think that would be a light coloured one. If furryhound’s source has reported a possible sighting of them both I think that rules out the resident wanderer. Will carry on keeping eyes open and report back with anything useful :)

I’ve been out on Church Road this evening, no sign of them. How sure are we that it was them, or one of them, that liver1047’s husband saw at Alveston? Can we just clarify if it was Alveston or Olveston?
Husband will be out as it’s getting light in the morning and will have a look round. I’ll keep my eyes open during the daytime.
