- You will find CP phone numbers for your area on the internet under Cats Protection. Thanks.

- So sorry RIP Tabby, and play at the bridge, now you are out of pain and suffering. God Bless. I urge anyone if they find a cat like this to contact the CP (Cat protection). My neighbour has recently found a mother and five kittens in her garden and is looking after them (Me too) until spaces can be found at the CP. I also contacted the CP and because of people not having their pets neutered there is a waiting list of THREE MONTHS (West Mids.) I was told by a volunteer for the CP that sometimes the RSPCA will put a healthy cat to sleep, because of lack of space. CP will not put a cat to sleep unless for a very good reason.

- At least he won't be suffering any more, sounds as if he was in a bad way, well done for helping him. Didn't the RSPCA officer tell you which vet he was going to, though? Probably the nearest RSPCA clinic if there is one in the area? x

- I managed to catch Tosca (id temporary named him) last thursday evening in our garage. The RSPCA collected him Friday dinnertime. He was obviously ill when you got a closer longer look. His bottom jaw was slightly lopsided, his back legs had no muscle tone & he couldnt jump he just climbed low walls. The inspector said she thought he also had cat flu. Sadly i wont beable to hear the outcome (although i suspect he was pts). When i asked the inspector if i could ring in a few days she said she wouldnt know as she just drop him of at the vets then she doesnt know anything after that. Its a shame as by trying to gain his trust id grown a bit attached to him. The inspector did say with him being unneutered & the state of him it was unlikely anyone was looking for him, poor boy. PA.

- Hi Lesleyjane sorry about late reply. I have rung a couple of local vets. I have asked some neighbours & no one knows whos he is he has just appeared. I couldnt get through to the CPL so tried RSPCA & they have said if i can catch him in my garage they will come & catch him in there. He now seems to have a problem with closing his mouth so im hope to catch him soon. But im trying to do it slowly as he seems more nervous of me now maybe if hes in pain, i dont want to scare him away. We havent put up posters as we cant reach. Thankyou for youre comment. PA.

- Have you put up posters and contacted local vets? Maybe they can get someone to come and collect and scan him.
