- Yes do look as this dog has been at the vets for over a week now, a lovely delicate little ruby and could be this baby now she's 18 months older. Please God it is her, she's in Stalybridge although they haven't said if she is microchipped but a frind had her cat microchipped and firstly the chip migrated but it also stopped working :/

- May be worth taking a look at 65913, found in SK15 and oddly unclaimed.

This one might be worth a look. - 2012-12-01 18:51 Christine Williams
- Is Honey still missing? If so, one thing I thought of is that there are quite a few caravan parks in Lincolnshire. Is there any way of national tv coverage?

- Honey has been gone for a long time now and there have been no sightings of her. Wonder if someone has found her and kept hold of her?

- Got back about an hour ago but Puzzle didn't manage to flush Honey out of the undergrowth, he did however flush out lots of partridges and was very pleased with himself. Owners are going over again tonight.

- PS Honey is not a typical cavalier. She is very active and adventurous with a strong hunting instinct, and can catch small rodents.

- The trail we picked up on Monday at Wasps Nest took us along the edges of fields then on to the path round the wood, eventually cutting back through the wood to the car park which was used the day she went missing. Then the scent led up a single track road heading away from the wood which I believe is a dead end. At this point I called a halt for the day as Wispa had been working for a while and I wanted her to be fresh and alert to follow this new direction. Next morning we came back to start again from where we left off, but there was a very fresh scent leading back down the road in the direction of Dunston which had not been there the previous day. So Honey had been back to the car park area since our visit and had gone off again. We followed the new scent all the way to Dunston village, expecting it to veer off into the wood which was now on our right, but instead it led to the village green, through the playing fields and out on to a road which doubled back in the direction we had come from, running parallel to our original road. Soon we came to a farm track and then trail went down there, crossing a couple of fields to rejoin the original road. But then it headed straight into a track round the top of the wood, which led back to Wasps Nest where she originally disappeared. This cheered us up as it meant we were less than an hour behind her, as there had been no scent on the entrance to that track when we passed it earlier. Honey had crossed our route behind us while we were following her trail through Dunston, going in a figure of 8. We did follow her down through a number of woodland paths, Wispa was getting air scent especially as we came closer to Wasps Nest but the undergrowth was too thick for her and indeed for us to go where she wanted to take us. There were many small tunnels through the bracken and brambles which were made by wildlife, and these were big enough for a cav to get through. Ashmark is there today with her springer who is a more suitable dog for searching thick cover.

- Owl and Wispa came over to Lincs this morning to track down Honey. Just received a message to say Wispa picked up trail and the search will continue in the morning. Fingers crossed that she will be found.

- Honey was walking just in front of her owner. She was last seen at a bend on the track. Could possibly have chased after a rabbit. Police. dog warden, vets and micro-chip company have been contacted and an appeal has gone out on Lincs FM. Posters are being put up. I will email all local information and make up some flyers just as soon as photo arrives.
