- No problem at all, dinkydoodle :o) They had a phone call just after midnight last night to say that he'd been found so he was already safely home by this morning :O)

- Sorry I didn't manage to contact owner this morning but so relieved to see this most handsome little man is home safely. I hope his leg will be ok. Fireworks are such a pain. Stay safe Taz x

- Taz is home! My friends received a phone call last night to say that he had been spotted near their allotment (where they'd been going back to check frequently anyway). He was dripping with sweat and has a gash on his back leg, but is otherwise fine. Thank you for all the help :o)

- Ah I know where you mean, good place for him to hide. Have they rung the dog warden to report him? It's good he's chipped - they also need to report to the chip company and check they have their correct contact details. I hope he's not been hurt too.

- They're currently out searching the cemetery at the end of their road! I just hope that the hit from the car hasn't caused too many injuries :o( Poor Taz!

- This is a good time for dogs to move about, and also at dawn if they can get out to look then. Glad you have the scenting instructions. Your friend must be worried sick, I so hope they find him tonight. Good luck.

- Thank you, dinkydoodle. He's not my dog, but my friend's. She's at home sitting by the phone whilst her partner and son are out searching. They know to look in potential hiding places and Dee has emailed over scenting instructions. They don't have a garage or porch and access to the back garden is only through the house, unfortunately. I will pass on the advice to put out his bed and some food though and will let her know that you'll be in touch in the morning, thank you.Last edited: 2012-07-21 22:51:33 by dirtychicken

- Sorry to see this little cutie has gone missing, put out his bed and some food by your house as he was in the vicinity of it and if you can, leave a gate, garage or porch door open as he may well have gone into hiding but return home overnight. I can text you in the morning with my details to offer you some further advice. Fingers crossed Taz is home with you soon.
