- Spoke to owner tonight and the lady who had French Bulldog Sully actually took her first to their kennels and they knew about Sully and were able to give them advice. They told them to contact the Echo (gave them the telephone number) or get in touch with the Police.
THANKS a MILLION to the Lady and the Boston's owners for guiding them in the right direction. x - 2013-02-26 21:18 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

Online version of The Liverpool Echo coverage. - 2013-02-26 19:05 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- I was contacted last week by The Liverpool Echo and again last night re doing a story on missing/stolen dogs. The coverage has gone in today's Liverpool Echo with headlines on the front page and a really good story. They have also covered stolen French Bulldog Sully ID 48741including a photo and the Stolen Boston's which is great, photo of the Boston's is on the online version which is not as detailed as the actual paper version.
Many thanks to the Liverpool Echo for covering dog theft and including help and advice on things to do to help prevent them going missing and being stolen.
Hope the coverage brings some news for Sully's family and the Boston's.
Thanks also to DL helper Lisa-Symonds who has helped greatly in getting the Liverpool Echo on board and kept us up to date. :) x - 2012-09-10 22:30 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer
- Good news that one boston is reunited, hopefully the other two will will be found soon.xx

- The three found Boston's belonged to another owner in the area. The stolen Boston's family located their owner. It was through their posters that helped reunite them which is great news for their owner who was very lucky to get the three of them back. They had accidently got out of the garden.
WELL DONE and THANK YOU to the finder and the stolen Boston's family for all they did to get them back with their family.
I've had an update from the stolen Boston's owner. Good news is the one in the photo that went missing approx 6 months ago has now been reunited. There is still two missing. x - 2012-09-08 22:11 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- Thanks AnnieSparky and shell195.
These girls are still missing, there has been no recent sightings of the one running around Pimbo Ind Estate. Posters are still getting taken down. Please keep looking out for them and sharing their details. Thanks. x - 2012-07-27 20:58 shell195
- I will get Steve to print some posters off and put them around the skate park behind me as Im only a few minutes away from Pimbo, he also works in Walkers in Pimbo so I will get him to put some up in work. The problem with Pimbo is it has so many paths leading to so many places and the moss road goes through to Rainford. Local kids are good at removing posters they have proved it in the past :( Once I have some printed I will put some up round the area. Do we have anymore info on where the dog was seen and how do I find out about the action group?Last edited: 2012-07-27 21:14:38 by shell195

- Thanks again everyone who is helping look out for these girls you are all stars.
There are helpers finding contact details for as many companies they can to email poster and details. Not all companies have email address' on the net. DW's, vets, groomers and kennels etc are also being alerted. Great family got coverage in The Liverpool Echo which as we know is very hard to get. They have been advised to contact as many papers as possible in the area. x - 2012-07-26 22:04 J MO
- Been around Pimbo Industrial Estate tonight with Deb. The area is vast. Think the best idea is to email the poster to the companies on the Estate and get the details in the Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Advertiset

- UPDATE posted by owner:
Result. Result. Result.
One of the 3 stolen bitches has just been returned; she was found running loose by a man in the Skelmersdale area. She has a very bad eye injury and will be receiving treatment. Please keep a watch for anyone with a new Boston bitch in this area as we feel sure the other 2 stolen bitches could be near by and now may be running loose. Thanks for all your support and an action group is being formed at this minute as this area will be getting blasted with posters until the 2 stolen bitches are found and we will not rest until they are. - 2012-07-23 12:14 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- Details posted on fb:
I need help in recovering my Boston Terrier show dogs stolen on Saturday morning and have reason to believe they may be in the Skelmersdale area. The top winning Boston Terrier puppy in the country, Wildax Augustus Brown, was badly injured ...in the burglary luckily managed to escape the robbers but three nine month old bitches were taken. The kennels are covered by CCTV and the CID have taken on the case. Also missing for 6 months, completely disappeared off the face of the earth, is top show bitch, Wildax The Go Go Dancer. Dancer, pictured below, last resided in Skelmersdale and unfortunately we now have no knowledge of her whereabouts. £2000 reward is offered for any information leading to the recovery of these four bitches and all information will be treated in the strictest confidence and reward paid in cash. - 2012-07-22 19:11 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- Sorry to see that BOSTON TERRIERS is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (41472)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
