- Other Info This dog was running loose into oncoming traffic on the A1 motorway at Gateshead southbound, just past the slip road for the A69 to Hexham. Traffic was brought to a halt and a few people tried to catch it, but it was terrified. Police arrived shortly after. This was approx 11:30 am.
