What an amazing story! So happy for you, and WELL DONE to that kind lady who rehomed her - and then gave her up. I hope she gets a dog that's just as lovely.

Sorry for not posting sooner, I was a bit overwhelmed with things. Sky was found on 17th December, when a lady who rescued her without knowing she was lost went to get her microchipped and found she was already chipped to me. She's safe and well. Just wanted to say thankyou very very much to everyone who gave me advice and help with finding her :)
smile
Hey sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm going to just try putting up more posters for now, I should be able to do that myself. Thanks very much for the offers though.

Smile please can you let Glenda and Julie know if you want their help with postering
Julie
I could also help with a leaflet drop/ posters on lamposts. I'm free from 4pm friday and saturday.

Sky owner. Might be worth putting in some footwork and doing a leaflet drop in every house in the immediate area. If you want, I'll gladly help and can get some A5 black and white leaflets photocopied.

Have you been to dogs homes. It is worth a visit even if they say they haven't got her.

Sky has some new photos (refresh page). Smile you may want to replace your posters with some new ones with all her pictures on. Her collar and tag are very distinctive and if it didn't fall off it might job someones memory. Keep in regular contact with everyone, DW, council in case she's been involved in an accident. If you have any local papers you could put an advert in. Someone may have picked her up and just kept her so you need to keep her as high profile as possible to flush her out.Last edited: 2012-08-25 12:12:18 by B30

Owner needs to contact DW, vets, visit the pound and call local kennels. She also needs to put an ad on the radio and in the local paper and to contact the chip company. She needs to heavily poster the area as the wood looks quite a big area. I would try putting down her bedding in the area she went missing from, as they do often go back there. There are also sites to check on the internet.Last edited: 2012-07-28 23:58:42
