- I have spoken to the owner and there has been no new sightings of Star. The owner has been leaving bedding, food and water at the last place Star was seen and also taking her other 2 dogs out to that area. I have advised the owner on how to act if she sees Star and is close to her.
I have also spoken to Lankeela who has kindly offered to bring her dogs out the help if there is a sighting, so now we just need Star to be seen xx - 2012-08-14 15:05 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Thank you for the offer Lankeela but until I can speak to the owner we don't know how she is with other dogs x

- Whats she like with other dogs - I have got a 2 year old male GSD and would be happy to come over and see if she would approach him

- Star has been seen over the weekend in Stoke Ferry but is very, very scared. I am trying to get a contact number for the owner so I can talk to her about how to approach Star when she sees her again.

- I've contacted the person who has registered Star with us (she's not the owner). I have asked this lady if she can pass on all the information that I have E-mailed her on to the owner.
Star has only been in her new home for a week when something spooked her out on a walk and she managed to slip her lead. There has been no sightings of her in the area yet but she is a very nervous dog so could be hiding out somewhere. The Dog Warden has been notified and I have advised to contact vets in the area.
It is very doubtful that Star will try to make her way home to the last owner as this is quite a distance for her to travel as she came from the Bury St. Edmunds area.
The owner hasn't a photo of Star so I will try to find a "similar dog" photo once I have a better description of her so E-mail alerts can go out in the area. - 2012-08-09 10:43 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
