So pleased he's home. That's a big area, I wonder if little Daisy could be there.

Spoke to owners ...he is home and will be chipped and has an appointment at the groomers as his coat is full of dust from concrete. He was found over the road in a 40 acre complex which is factories and wildlife.

I travel up and down Steetley lane twice a day, I work for Thornberry animal sanctuary and also german shepherd rescue. I text the owners yesterday having seen a poster whilst out with my own gsd's I didn't get a reply. I asked if I could have some posters for our reception incase he comes in to us. I'll try their landline number and print his pic off here. I hope he's found safe and well I would go out of my mind if one of mine went missing. Ruth is that your IG on the poster near the river bridge on Steetley?

If there is a travellers site nearby then this needs to be visited. There is usually a site lliason officer at the local council who will go in. Meanwhile put a big poster on the entrance. To have both a gsd and a greyhound go missing nearby is suspicious. Such a handsome boy. I do so hope you find him soon.

So sorry to hear that your lovely boy Max is missing.
I had exactly the same thing happen to me with my GSD bitch "Teddy" who went missing in December 2011 and is still missing. If I can be of help to you in any way , then please do not hesitate to contact me on 07503 233 945. All the best for his safe return. Kind regards....Sam xx

There are two dogs recently missing from Worksop, Max and Italian Greyhound Daisy 42085. Perhaps owners could look out for each others dogs while they are searching

Owner needs to get some posters up at the big layby at the entrance to Whitwell Wood which is close to Steetley. Very popular dog walking place.

Spoke to owner, she has contacted DW's, vets, I have suggested local radio and the local paper. She has visited the pound and there is a small group of travellers a short distance away. I have suggested postering or visiting with a poster with 'reward' on. She needs to check sites on the internet.

Sue can you send some photos of similar dogs off the data base. Thanks.
