- All crossed here Angela that this lovely boy is Sid. A missing/stolen dog has no boundery's .Unfortunatley Angela its nasty but ive known chips to picked out but they can migrate our vet scanned our dogs for chip every visit and one of ours last check was in his lower hind leg! We have a couple of Cockers and know how adorable they are, good luck hope its Sid. Stolen Tays mum x

- Realistically he could be anywhere in the country after all this time, could have been picked up and then dumped, horrible i know but it does happen. I have a soft spot for Cockers so willing it to be him for you. Let us know what they say when you call. Fingers and toes crossed.

- Thanks, I will give them a ring tomorrow and find out more details. It is so hard to think he could be all the way up in the north east, but i cant rule anything out.

- I have heard of chips migrating and being missed, and he has been missing a while, so the thinness could be fending for himself. you need to find out if this dogs tail is docked like Sids. i so hope its him good luck and keep us updated.Last edited: 2012-08-15 18:49:27 by Fiona

- I am Sid's owner. It could possibly be him albeit the dog in the photo is very thin looking. Sid was however chipped, is it possible that chips can be removed?

- Please check lost Pip 37934, stolen in March from Essex. I know the sex shows differently, but mistakes can be made in tabulation....

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
