There was no evidence of anyone having been in the garden. Although owner had put a different padlock on to normal one. They had had workmen in during the day and a pile of bricks were stacked up but 2ft away from the wall. Lofty is 11 years old and slightly blind in left eye and his left ear sticks up but tip droops. He also dislikes other dogs.

Really, really sorry to see this about Lofty. My heart goes out to his owners. I hope it gives you a little comfort to know that Lofty is now back to full health, being able to see now, just like Kip can. Night, night, sleep tight, and, when the time is right you will meet your owner at the bridge; forever together. God Bless RIP+++ Run free Lofty.
