He had an operation two weeks ago and still has a shaved tummy and a clearly visible scar. He has never gone far before and does not know the area. Toby was with the owners 2 other dogs who didn't go far. PLEASE contact his owners on the number below with any info/sightings. Thank you.

Been there this evening with Toby's family. Wispa found the trail, which led down from the stream where he was last seen into woodland where there is a circular area of scrub with a high back going around it. There are 2 ways into this area, and it seems that Toby went in one, ran around and explored, then left by the other exit by mistake, following a path to Permalite works then another path oppoaite which led through woodlands to the rivers edge, then followed the river through fields along a public footpath. Eventually we came out on Aston Lane, then the trail led along to turn right up Oker Road. At this point we had been going for an hour and a half so we decide to call it a day. Wispa also found scent in another part of the original quarry area down a track which also leads to the Permalite works, so we think Toby has run a few circuits round there. Flyers are going to be done for Oker area.

Railtrak have been notified, as have police & dog wardens. Owner has spoken with the kennels who take in all strays from that area.
DogLostOwl
Poster everywhere! As he is so people friendly someone may have picked him up. Wonder if he went to a different picnic area?
Unknown
I have advised owner to contact the radio asap and to contact Railtrack asap. I am hoping he has headed away from Matlock but as he loves people so much he may have gone that way. PLEASE everyone keep a look out for him. Thank you.

Owner needs to contact DW, local vets, hand out flyers to dog walkers and contact any local farmers. Owner also needs to contact chip company and contact the local radio and paper. They also need to visit the dog pound and check sites on the internet. Also poster asap.
