- Thank you for keeping her safe xx

- Well done to you for sorting this out. Holly was lucky that you took the trouble to take her to safety. I am still puzzled as to why the owners had put up no posters yesterday. It is great that she is home now. Maybe they don't walk her in the plantation. I must admit, although I live within walking distance, I drive mine to the New Forest every day as the Plantation is so boring/ filthy/ full of dog *** ! Maybe see you some time. Sandy

- Hi, Thanks Folly,
Happy to say 'Holly' now reunited with her owners who live in Braeside Rd! Apparently the children took her name tag off! I explained to the owner that with a tag I could have simply walked her home and saved everyone (including Holly)hassle! Vet nurse had words about tag/chipping too! Beautiful girl, funny though no one local even knew she lived there - never seen in plantation. - 2012-09-01 22:30 Folly
- Forgot to say, why on earth isn't she chipped and wearing a collar tag. When will people learn the value of these and that to have an i/d disc is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT apart from just plain common sense.

- I have literally just returned from a drive round to see if anyone had put up posters to say they had lost a Golden. None that I could see. I did the length of Uplands as well as Braeside as it is probable that the dog has come from the plantation which is where many people walk their dogs. Thanks, Labradorloopy for putting up "Found" notices. I have notified St. Mary's vets in case the owner rings there. Can't do much else at the moment, but if she is not reunited next week, I'll contact Golden Retriever rescue who will willingly take her ( as would I to foster.)I can't believe that I didn't come across someone frantically looking for her. I would be!

- I found this dog today. absolutely beautiful. Well behaved but nervous of my two lively male labradors . No chip so left at vets for her own comfort. Cedars vets at Ringwood has a 24/7 opening hours and there is always a vet nurse so the dog will be well cared for. Vet to notify dog warden (Michelle) and Police. Posters put up locally. Hope she finds her home soon.Last edited: 2012-09-01 10:21:22 by labradorloopy
