- Maureen, I only just saw your post. This link gives some good guidance to what happens but in short the dog will probably be rehomed but you have the right to apply for him and keep him in your home for up to 28 days.
He looks a very nice dog, I hope he finds a good home (if he hasn't aleady found one). He is defiantley the type of dog I would like so if he is still with the dog warden let me know. Sam

- He is being collected by the dog warden on Monday to go to the kennels, where I presume he'll stay for 7 days and I don't know what will happen after that, does anyone else know?

- Not my area, but if he is not claimed what will happen to him? I'll have him! I've got a ex rescue who is possibly a tibeten /(cross)

- Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
