- I think this dog is now reunited. There is a post on Facebook and the photo is the same - says he was reunited via his microchip through the RSPCA. I am sure you will want to confirm this and I do hope it is right. Last edited: 2014-02-26 17:41:30 by reggiemollieros

- Owner has confirmed to me that notified all local vets etc were contacted, RSPCA, dog warden, chip company etc but as she was suffering ill health at the time (hence someone else logged him missing) not so many posters were done.
The owner was given some information that the dog was taken but no proof so could not be followed through. She will send me the chip number for me to add. - 2013-07-09 21:03 Kathos
- I have contacted all local vets, dog warden, RSPCA, police (weren't any help) the chip company a few posters have gone up have posted a lot over Facebook, posted on gumtree and have been trying to think of other things, a friend goes to a lot of dog shows and has spread the word through contacts I feel a little lost on what else I can do :( xx

- I have messaged u Sammie on fb x

- Kath, Shereen is away for a few days but what she is asking is to state what searching you have done, (phisically and electronically), why you thought she had been sold on in London, etc. Email admin or me on FB the microchip number as there is none listed but it says she is chipped.
When I was in 3 legged cross on Sunday I didn't see any posters, and I was on the cycle track and parked by the pet shop but didn't notice any.

- Apologies for the vagueness of this, there is a 3 legged dog found in London, it does say brown and black, not fawn, sex not given, and at the bottom it says kjh - is that misspelling chi? - Reply from Chucky's owner:
Many thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately there has been no news regarding Chucky. We are still holding on hope that he is safe and well somewhere are will eventually be passed on to a responsible and loving owner who will take him to a vet and get him returned via his chip.
The police were not able to get involved as there was no actual evidence that he had been stolen. We now have CCTV around the home and an intruder alarm!
I have put Chucky forward to go in the countryman's Weekly. - 2012-09-30 17:15 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Further email sent asking for an update. Poor little chap has to be somewhere.

- Thanks for suggestions, just heard from the devastated owner - Chucky is still missing! She is totally distraught.

- That is not a bad sugestion, there may be a room which is not used much or Chucky could be trapped behind furniture. It has happened before. In case he has been taken I have sent an email to the owners offering advice.

- Sorry, ignore my previous suggestion - I just noticed he's been missing for over a week so can't be hiding in the house all that time. I hope he turns up soon - so many tiny dogs going missing recently.
- 2012-09-04 18:31 pollydog
- has the owner searched the house really carefully? There was a case not long ago of a very small dog believed missing, that was actually stuck under a chair in the house. If he's shy it's very odd that he could have been coaxed out, or chosen to get out through the cat flap. He may be lost indoors, so worth an extra careful check in cupboards etc in case he slipped in when no one was looking!
