Sarah your registration looks fine and you should now receive email alerts for any dogs that go missing in or around ST12. It's great to have you as a helper for the missing ST dogs.

I hope Alfie has caught up on his sleep now and thank you so much for the donation.

Thank you everyone! Alfie got back this morning, are his pilchards and took his favourite toys upstairs, curled up and slept! He's had heaps of visitors, ate his dinner and gone back to bed! He must be exhausted!
To the co-ordinators...I have registered as a helper in the ST12 area as thats where I live although Alfie and my dad are from Cannock. I hope I have registered for this correctly!! Also we would like to make a donation please, is there any other way than doing it online ie via cheque? Thanks, Sarah x x x

Alfie returned home this morning at approx 5.20AM quite bedraggled and very hungry....but at least he's home!!!! Thank you to EVERYONE for all of their help and this amazing website!!! We will be making a donation and offering to look for other dogs in our area. We are so happy! x x x
Sarah
No Sue, by the sounds of it he was trying to avoid people. although he was spotted yesterday walking in Heath Hayes through the streets so it seems hes trying to get back. As you said, he must be getting hungry now. Fingers crossed x
B30
That's good Sarah. At least you know he's ok. Was he trying to follow anyone? Maybe getting hungry now. Can you put a scent down from the info I sent using tripe, pilchards or something smelly. Drag it around the area in the bottom of a pair of tights to cover the area. Good luck
Sarah
Alfie has been spotted on four occasions today between 12 and 2pm in the Brindley Heath walking area not far from Hednesford. Please everyone...keep an eye out for him. Thanks, Sarah x

Thanks Sarah, I know what you mean because I have a Lurcher almost identical to Alfie.

I've emailed you some information on scenting etc that you might find useful.
Sarah
Sorry missed a bit! Yes his hair is lighter than the rest of him but he has had his summer cut so darker grey than the picture x
Sarah
He is very dark grey, some would say black, but i would say very dark grey. He has recently been cut so he has slightly shorter hair than usual. Thanks, Sarah x

Now that we have a photo I'll get Alfie a magazine advert asap.

Sarah or Vix, Alfie is described as black and grey but in the photo he looks all grey with his head being a lighter grey. Please can you confirm what his colour is so that I can describe him properly in the advert. Thanks
Sarah
Thank you everyone. Fingers crossed Alfie returns asap. After this we would like to become helpers on this site to help others. Thanks Vix for sorting out the pic. We will be printing these and posting them EVERYWHERE! Fingers crossed and thanks again, x

hi there. I am a friend of the family. I have sent you a photo of Alfie. Thanku
Unknown
Have asked him to send in a photo but he has not computer, so not sure if the email address is his daughters.
Unknown
Spoke to owner, Alfie was last seen yesterday at 1.00pm but nothing since. Owner is worried he has been picked up by travellers in the area, as he is a good rabbit catcher. He is contacting local radio.
Unknown
Owner needs to contact DW, vets, put an ad on the radio and in the paper. Poster asap. Hand out flyers to dog walkers and put flyers through letter boxes. Check sites on the internet. Visit the pound. Talk to farmers if fields are close by. Put posters in local shops etc.
