Daisy's owner has just confirmed the Police and DL have rung them, also a bus driver. It could be the one that was sighted top of Gateacre brow the other night. x

I think that will be Rutland Avenue, L26 which runs into Halewood Village. Daisy's family live a good way from the area so won't have been her. x

Just had a call from Mersey side police after seeing one of your posters they are trying to capture a similar dog on Butland avenue,Halewood...has Daisy got out again...

WOO HOO DAISY IS HOME.

While Jobi and MojoPeanut were out tonight postering around an area called the Triangle Jobi got that most important call. They met up with the caller who lived in Hunts Cross L25. She was found on the evening she went missing tied up to a bus stop so the details on the AW site was Daisy. Everything fitted with this one especially when we found out Daisy still had her lead on.

A school friend seen a poster on the bus stop and took it into school as recognised her as being found. Family had done a great job looking after her and children were upset to see her go.

I was out with son having a meal before he goes back to Uni and got a call from MojoPeanut, they called to my house with Daisy and we took them back to her home. Jobi's family did not know they had got her and were surprised when they opened door. It was great to see a very happy reunion and photo/s and video were taken.

MANY MANY THANKS go to MojoPeanut for all the hard work put in this week while being on hols from work you have done a great job along with helper Elvis. The posters did the trick as they have done many a time.

Thank you to everyone who helped looking out for Daisy, sharing her details and cross checking especially on the AW site. pixies peeps well done for posting the reference number. Thanks also go to her finders who have looked after her well.

Have great pleasure in moving Daisy into the BLUE welcome home, sending you lots of hugs and cuddles you mum can have a well earned rest now. x

Thank you AkitaTaz. Much appreciated xx

Mojopeanut there are more posters in the post for you today. I have amended some to a picture that is on her FB group. It shows Daisys markings better. Can anyone change the doglost poster to include this one also?
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Thanks a million MojoPeanut.

Some of the posters may be removed from the bus stops etc especially with Gateacre being a conservation area. :(x

When I drove through between 7.30-8.00pm I did not see them on the bus stops but was driving past. Seen the bus stops along Kings Drive where the one on the AW's site was registered as being tied up. Have asked jobi or someone she knows to try and speak to the AW's again. If it was handed in it would of been taken to Halewood RSPCA have advised when they next contact the RSPCA see if any of the dogs they have were picked up in L25 on 9th. x
MojoPeanut
Posters put in bus shelters up Kings Drive, along Woolton Rd, Belle Vale Rd and in bus shelters at Belle Vale shopping centre. Also along Wheathill Rd and in the Woodlands Estate. Also put notices up in the shopping centre and in Morrisons as previously put up notices have been removed! All vets, groomers and chippies in the area are covered too. I'll sleep tonight. Think I walked about 8 miles today. If it gets madam home it will be worth it :) xx

Had a drive around the area at 17.30pm on way from work to a class I go to and then when going home from the class at 19.30pm. x

Jobi had a call earlier this evening of a possible SIGHTING top of Gateactre Brow L25, which is just up the road from Belle Vale. Caller said she tried to get her but she ran off towards Belle Vale.

I've been out tonight with MojoPeanut driving around the area, we met up with Jobi and her friend.

More posters have been put up and hopefully the calls should start coming in.

Thanks again MojoPeanut for all you help. :)x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Jobi is out in the area now and has passed posters onto to a couple of Community Support Officers riding around on their bikes. Also been around the Barnham Drive playing fields area and has given posters out to people that work in local Chippy. x

Spoke to jobi last night who is doing a fantastic job and we went through some things again, especially the dog registered on the AW site found the same night.

Thanks a million to everyone who is helping in the search. It can sometimes take a bit of time before someone sees Daisy's missing details and recognises her as being found. x
MojoPeanut
Sadly it wasn't Daisy at the RSPCA. The search continues :(
AnnieSparky
Thanks for checking Mojopeanut.....its good Daisys mum and friends go into the RSPCA checking.
Hope shes found soon....will keep checking websites and sharing Daisys poster xx
MojoPeanut
Thanks Annie. Just called the aw. Dog described as a german shepherd cross. No collar or chip though! Daisy's Mums friend is checking the RSPCA today so will ask her to check this one out just in case xx

AW's have replied to my email re the found they said it was found tied to a bus stop on Kings Drive that night, unfortunately they do not have a number for the caller. This is a pity as the area fits with where Daisy has gone missing from. x

I did various size word doc posters last night which included the small wallet sized ones. Emailed posters and details out to helpers in the area and also DW's, Rescues and some vets. Owner has family/friends who are also helping with the search and postering, yoda_soda is also helping with Internet side of things while owner is at work and out looking for Daisy. x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Thanks pixies peeps and Toby's Mum for posting on Daisy's page.

I will email the AW's for more details of the found on the AW site. Any dogs picked up in the area would be taken to Halewood RPSCA. Owner has been checking there regularly and has also visited the kennels in person. I spoke to the kennels myself, there are dogs all the time fitting Daisy's description in the kennels. We always advise owners not to rely on the Chip alone and it is really important kennels are visited in person at least once a week to cover the 7 days ruling. There are local helpers in the area looking out for Daisy. Now the posters are getting spread more owner will get that most important call. x
Tobys Mum
Has anyone visited the local rescue's/pounds in person as microchips have been missed before. I notice that the owner doesn't have transport but do they know anyone who could help? x
pixies peeps
There is one listed on animal wardens on 2nd september:- Female brown tan with light tan markings. Picked up in L25 Ref 277743
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Helper MojoPeanut is going to the area to have a look around. Thanks.

The caller has rung owner back and said he asked someone what the name of the dog was and they said Millie, he sounded gutted. Great the posters are working and he will pass details onto his friends. I have passed this onto MojoPeanut while we were on the phone.

I was going to go but my own dog is recovering from a major operation and cannot leave him too long. :( x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Possible sighting.

Owner has just had a phone call of a possible sighting near St Stephen's church. This maybe the one on Belle Vale Road leading into Gateacre Village. I've given owner directions of where it is. Hope it is her. Good luck. x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Had a long chat with owner, who lives in the KNOTTY ASH L14 area and does not know the Belle Vale or surrounding area. Daisy was being looked after by a friend while they were on holiday. Daisy has been registered on DL by another friend who is helping in the search for Daisy. I've gone through some local places to target and advised owner gets an A-Z of the area. Daisy actually went missing on SUNDAY 02.09.12 I have UPDATED the date again. Owner and her family are doing a great job it is only a matter of time before someone sees her missing details. Owner does not have transport and also has work commitments.

Many thanks again to everyone who is helping look out for Daisy and spreading the word. x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Thanks MojoPeanut for the alert re the missing date greatly appreciated, I have UPDATED it now in the facebook details. You are all stars for helping yoda_soda out. Info/Advice email has been emailed to yoda_soda with contact numbers for who to contact. Also posted details on all the local rescues. yoda_soda I will do the various size posters a.s.a.p. and also send out to helpers and rescues in the area. x
yoda_soda
Had a crank post from the gumtree ad claiming he found the dog. Have e-mailed 3 times but have had no reply. Don't think he is genuine.
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Thanks run Lola run, greatly appreciated. The Dog's Trust and Freshfields contact numbers is in the info/advice email, also AIN, Liverpool Dog Rescue and other rescues in the area/surrounding area. Daisy is used to walking on the loop line and could of gotten onto it and end up in other area. x
run Lola run
will keep a look out and have also shared.
She may also have been taken to the dogstrust or even freshfields animal rescue if she has been found.
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
I've made contact with owner and given advice. The right people have been contacted and posters have been getting put up. Family are doing a great job spreading the word. I've emailed more info/advice in more detail with places to try, also Scenting Instructions.

Photo/s grouped together and details updated to show up on her poster. Keeping everything cross she is back home soon. x
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
In work and post via my phone: I will try and contact family asap. I have spoken to Halewood RSPCA 0151 486 1706 which is where she would be taken, family or spmeone who knows her need to go the kennels as there are dogs in there fitting her description. X
MojoPeanut
Can I ask whereabouts in Belle Vale this lady was lost? I live in the area and will be going out looking for her tonight xx
