Have just spoken to Swindon Dog Warden and she believes from the description the finder gave including scars on the dog that Barney is now reunited. They did leave a message on the owners phone to enquire whether it was Barney but the owner didn't get back to them.

We found a choc lab, could be Barney!!! He is happy,safe and well. We'll call number given today so you can see him soon.
