Hi Lauren17, Im sorry I have just seen this comment you left. The dog I found was black and the white markings on her chest were much smaller than your girl and she didn't have white feet. I am so sorry to see you are still looking for Lottie. wishing you good luck in your search xx

I know this is from ages ago now but could you check this link to see if it was this dog you found http://www.doglost.co.uk/poster.php?dogId=38903#.UxXzVvl_uSp we just want to know she is safe x

Thanks for the update smokenfluff. I'm amazed that she is so young and what a shame that the lump wasn't investigated at an earlier age as it may have been possible to do something. It's good to know that she's well in herself though and that she's claimed her rightful place on the sofa LOL!!

Just got back from the vets and he has advised us to leave the lump alone, for now anyway. Because it is such a hard mass and is not contained in a sac it would be difficult to remove without damaging major arteries and nerves. He seems to think it has grown through them all and inserting a needle into that area to withdraw cells could prove detrimental to her health. He has asked us to measure it once a week to see if it is growing. He suggested that she may even have been born with it. He has put her age down at about two or three years old. That aside she continues to be thriving. Eating well and has certainly found her place on the sofa!

Have emailed a selection of photos over to admin.

Hope all goes well at the vets tomorrow and the lump is nothing to worry about. It's very sad that some dogs are abandoned when something is found to be wrong with them, if that's what has happened in this case. I know it's difficult for owners as vets can be expensive but it's when they need us most!

smokenfluff, can you try reloading your photo and if it doesn't show email it to admin@doglost.co.uk with the ID number. Thanks

This lovely girl is still with her very caring finders and is still eating well but has an appointment with the vets tomorrow for them to look further at the large lump she has at the side of her neck.
Fingers cossed for her tomorrow xxx

It's not Fizz as the markings on her feet are different. Have contacted J R Whippet Rescue & Scruples Whippet Rescue just waiting to hear back.
skippy
more than a bit of a longshot after all this time, but is there a chance this is an elderly Fizz 5323 missing since 2006?

Please give Scruples Whippet Rescue a call on 0845 625 6211. They can give rescue back up to this girl and provide her with a comfortable foster home whilst she is serving her 7 days. they have approved homes waiting and a lovely new home can be offered for her as soon as she is clear to be rehomed. :)
