I have a page for Podencos on Facebook and I thought I could share this girl's details. I do not want to adopt her myself.
annemonique
Angus, do you know which rescue she is in for rehoming?
annemonique
Can you tell me what rescue she has gone to?

Moriaty in Hemel ought to be able to help with this identification. However, I'm not sure I have his contact details any more.

Oh good - I mentioned to the kennels that I though she could be a podenco - DW paperwork has her listed as a GSD cross if anyone calls the kennels - she is as mad a box of frogs - vertical jump on the back of one of the kennel girls when she was clearing the poo from her kennel

She definitely looks like a pure bred podenco to me (Ibiza hound, and I used to have one). She's starting to get posted on the Podenco rescue sites on FB, so maybe someone will recognise her - trouble is sometimes people bring them over from Spain where they are often thrown out and abandoned by hunters, with no idea how to look after them. These dogs are sighthounds and need a huge amount of exercise, and don;t usually have good recall... and they can run 30 miles or more at a stretch. I hope someone takes her in!

Yes I agree with looking like a Pharoah hound. Hope she is reunited soon.

Reminds me of one of those Pharoah hounds. What a stunning girl- surely someone must be missing her :(
