I'm so sorry Satchi is still missing, hoping that you hear news of his whereabouts soon. Dolly 6.2.05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No, alas, Satchi has never been found, alive or dead. Barb is still very upset. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It's more than a month since Satchi's owner posted a message (three days after he went missing) so I'm wondering whether he's been found.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is an older collie on the found page today. Ive gone backwards and forwards trying to see if they are the same dog. They do look similar but the white bit on top of face is not the same. Might be worth a look though!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I'm doing The Rutland Dog Day on Sep 25th if you want me to hand out posters e mail me nickspea@aol.com and I'll send you my address to post them to. I would normally print them for you but my printer is out of action, though of course I hope Satchi is home before then. take Care Nikki (see Jesters page) xx You should also try www.oldies.org.uk & phone your local Highways Agency as a last resort to see if any dogs have been involved in rta's. It's not likely but you need to eliminate this. If you need help with Highways Agency numbers let me know on Jesters Page Take Care Nikki xxxxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you abbiee. I have just followed up on a call that he was seen on the Bream to Coleford road last thursday and found someone else who had also seen him but that trail seems to have gone cold now. We will still carry on looking.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Absolutely no trace of Satchi at all. Last sighting was by me when I saw him go back into the house. It is like he was snatched by some unseen hand - not even a crank phone call. We have scoured the woods and surrounding area and tomorrow we will be calling all the original contacts, police, dog warden radio, papers, vets etcLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
