SIGHTED again this morning in the same area as yesterday near the Dene. Gaynor is there now with garlic chicken and Skye's blanket.
We would ask people to please NOT leave food out for Skye as we need her to keep going for the food that Gaynor is taking x

Bumed due to more sightings of Skye yesterday around the Dene between Hatfield and O' Neil Drive.
Gaynor has confirmed that Skye is no longer wearing her collar or lead.
This is good in terms of her no longer being at risk of being trapped against something by her lead but will make catching her harder.
Gaynor you are working SO hard to get Skye back and having been there myself on Sunday and seen the lay of the area i can fully appreciate what a difficult job you have on hands.
Stay positive and keep trying to keep her coming to that same area with food and scenting as you did yesterday and hopefully she will be home soon xxxx

We have been staying fairly local to Peterlee this weekend and drove over to help her owner search this morning . Sadly we didn't get one sighting of her but did manage to spread the word to a lot of locals .
The area Skye has gone missing in is cross crossed with vast areas of greens and pathways and cut throughs and her owner is really up against it here . If anyone local could help with the search or by putting a few posters up it would be very much appreciated !
Hoping for news of Skye very soon xx

Thanks Ashmark ! Have spoken to owners who are emailing us a photo. Skye is a rescue dog and has not been with her new family for very long and ran off with her lead attached from near her new home. She is a very nervous dog and will be scared. She does not know her new surroundings and may be hiding up locally. Her new owners are not sure if Skye's microchip details have been transferred to her yet or if they are still to the rescue. However The rescue are aware Skye is missing and have been helping in the search for her.
Owners are checking with local stray kennels and are going to start postering today.
Hoping Syke is found very soon xxLast edited: 2012-09-14 10:38:37 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
