- It is now nearly a year since Dancer disappeared from Lodmoor, Weymouth whilst on a walk. A group of people will be meeting tomorrow at Mcdonalds in Weymouth at 9.30.a.m. They plan to re advertise and talk to the public and holiday makers to make them aware that Dancer is still missing. Anyone wishing to help please turn up. There is now a £2000 reward for safe return of Dancer or info leading to her return. She could still be in the Weymouth area or equally, now be anywhere in the UK. Dancer is approaching 3 years old now and her coat probably is longer than her photo shows. Do you know anyone who has acquired a papillon since 16 September 2012? Could they unknowingly have Dancer? Please if anyone knows anything at all that could help call get her home to her rightful owner please call 0781 348 8164.

- Owner of Dancer arranged for Natural Instinct to help in this way. She also spent time at Crufts putting up posters, giving out cards, and making people aware she is still missing and much wanted safely home. It is believed Dancer is with someone, a phone call was received shortly after she went missing saying to stop looking for her, that she was safe and well.!! She will NEVER stop looking, and will keep on searching for ever until we find her. Dancer is microchipped so with luck one day she will be scanned and returned to rightful owner.

- I can't believe there are no regular updates about this little Papillon, she has to be somewhere, someone must have seen her since 23rd October....
- 2012-11-18 07:24 Jan.Petsearchuk
- I so wish this little Dancer could be found quickly, she must be so cold & lonely at nights now. Come on Dancer we want you home now, you've had far too much freedom.....
- 2012-11-07 19:22 Spindle
- Updating at request of owner. Dancer was seen by 3 people in Weymouth on Tuesday 23 October between about 7.30pm and 8pm approximately in the Kitchener Road and Corporation Road and Longcroft road. After a very short delay her owners were there but could not find her. Despite street searching and another 4000 leaflets, she is still not home.
Do you know anyone that has recently acquired a Papillon, perhaps bought unwittingly through an advert or word of mouth - could they unknowingly have Dancer? She is a very loved dog and owners desperate to find her. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO CATCH HER, JUST CALL 0781 348 8164 and we will come immediately.
There is a reward for Dancer's safe return or information leading to her safe return.
- 2012-11-06 09:13 Jan.Petsearchuk
- I have recirculated it amongst my petsearch contacts. Come on home Dancer, you must be so cold and scared of the fireworks etc.

- Well done to all those still searching tirelessly for this little one. We have to get her back home and out of the cold. Wish I was closer to be able to help. I know her owner will NEVER give up looking for her, and has offered a substantial reward for information leading to her return. Please work the networks you have - internet or real - to get her back home where she belongs. She is already on FB, but I'm not sure about other social networking sites.

- If she is very scared of people, maybe she has a hiding place in the cemetery somewhere.
- 2012-10-23 22:14 Spindle
- Plan is to keep Dancer in a safe area where she feels safe and is not chased. Her movements are being monitored and plotted. Please call above number if any sightings whatsoever. We need this little one home.

- Just can't believe that Dancer has been returned yet, despite a substantial reward. I'm assuming that the travellers' network has been informed - they are usually pretty good at recovering dogs that have rewards on them. (No offence intended, just that they have a very effective network.)

- Large advert today in the Dorset Echo on page 14. Thousands of leaflets have been put through doors, and hundreds of posters are now on display. We believe there is a strong possibiity that she may have been taken in by someone, perhaps mistaken as a stray because her coat is out of condition. She is on a special diet and may need vet treatment. Owner is distraught and heartbroken over her missing dog and will never give up loooking for her. If anyone knows anything please call.
- 2012-09-30 09:46 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team

posters and talking to anyone you see. I know it is a lot to ask and I am so sorry for doing so. If you can help please can you email lostpapindorset@gmail.com
The time to meet is 10am till maybe 2pm and the address is Southdown Avenue, Weymouth, DT3 6HS. Please share far and wide. Thank you all so much for caring about one little very scared papillon.
