- FANTASTIC NEWS! Im so pleased for your family! I know you all missed him a lot. I hope he is in good health and well. I remember you were very upset when he went missing, may I suggest you put a little child stair gate before the front door (maybe a 2 metres back) as an extra security measure as I know he escaped that way. Wishing you and all your family a VERY happy new year ! Welcome home! xxx

- Hi there
I dont know much about putting adverts in the paper but here is the phone number of the Newham recorder (the local paper), (020) 8478 4444 Im sure if you explained what you wanted to do they could give you more information and prices etc. ( as I said before if your pet is insured they sometimes help with the cost depending on who you are with)
The paper may even run a story for you. Just phone up and take it from there
Good luck - 2012-10-02 10:28 aggne

- 2012-09-29 15:54 Tara H
- Hi Aggne
No news still ? Well done for reporting it to all the correct places. Do you think its worth putting an advert in the Local paper, Newham recorder. ( Sometimes if the pet is insured they help with this cost)
Good luck ! - 2012-09-26 13:58 aggne

- 2012-09-19 18:51 aggne
- Yes i did call to petlog the some day, when Bolt was deseppear. I did call today again, but still nothing
- 2012-09-19 18:27 Tara H
- It depends what company they have been microchipped with
I can not remember if this is correct or not
I think PETLOG quite a popular one in the UK phone 0844 4633 999
Maybe also see if any other comments are added in case I am wrongLast edited: 2012-09-19 18:34:35 by Tara H - 2012-09-19 18:17 aggne
- How to found the number of Microchip company ? thanks
- 2012-09-19 18:05 Tara H
- You are welcome. If they dont phone you back try again tomorrow. Still report it to the policeas well ( they will not fine you, that informationyou have been given is wrong)....you can phone a non urgent number 101 instead of 999. This is to report any crime.Take down the crime reference number they may give you. Also report your dog missing to the Microchip company as doglost reccomends, that way if he is scanned at any point the vet/kennels will know that he is lost/stolen. People have got their dogs back this way
Hope that helps - 2012-09-19 17:29 aggne
- Thank u Tara ,i did call 5 min ago, they say that they will call me back. Thank u for your help. i want to report in police, but some people say that i can get a fine, becouse police have much more inportant things to do
- 2012-09-19 16:47 Tara H
- Hi Aggne
Here is the Newham Dog wardens number 0208 586 97 39 or they may have changed that just to the council who then put you through which is 020 8430 2000
Just in case someone has picked him and then handed him in
x - 2012-09-19 16:31 aggne
- Tara H: I did post in all street and much more far. I live near burges road.I will ask in shops to put some. I think somebody picked Bolt who was know him,who was knew that he is friendly and he will never bite, couse usualy people who saw the first time feared pass by
- 2012-09-19 16:13 Tara H
- Oh dear... definately get some posters out and about. I dont know whereabouts you are, but also ask in some local shops if they will put some up. As they have a lot of people going in out all the time.If someone has taken him they may see the poster and phone you. Also someone may suddenly see that a local neighbour has got a new dog.
Do contact the Dog warden, (just phone the council and they will give you the number) as someone may have picked him up thinking he was a loose/stray dog if they couldnt see your husband
Good luck x - 2012-09-19 16:03 aggne
- TO Tara H: No it wasn't from the garden,he was outside with my husband, till his park the car infront of the home, dog just disappear. In all 2 years, never happen like that. If BOLT run somewhere he's comeing back in max 5 min, this time he didn't. Neighbors saying that in this area, people stoling dogs always,if i was knew about that before i would never let him go in another side home.Last edited: 2012-09-19 16:04:07 by aggne

- I shall keep my eye out for him. May I ask whereabouts in East Ham ...roughly will do.As I am local. Also how was he stolen, was it from the garden. And get a CRIME REFERENCE number from the police as well.
Check with the local Dog wardens at Newham and put up posters as that really does bring in phone calls.
Good luck xLast edited: 2012-09-19 15:02:35 by Tara H - 2012-09-19 14:38 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
