- Hi Kat, the finder of the found dog who called HQ to say they had Rocky didn't have the chip number for either the found dog or this Rocky, also the found dog is only 18 months old x
- 2017-08-02 18:01 Kat
- Doglost, just a thought. Originally this was the dog that was found (so they said) & now it isn't. Could this dog possibly have 2 microchips?

- We have been in touch with Forest Lodge who the found dog is currently with & they have checked the microchip numbers to confirm conclusively that the found dog in not this Rocky. Thank you to everyone for the help with this. If the owner who registered Rocky lost here could still provide up to date contact details we will of course continue to look for her boy x

- Have you tried searching owners name and address on 192.com I have used this a few times to find addresses of people that have moved. Only draw back you have to pay for detailed info. Hope this helps. http://www.192.com/

- sounds like a good idea, but best to email number in rather than post on here, send to admin@doglost.co.uk and make sure you include Rocky's id. Be good if it is him after all this time.

- Just a thought. On missing posts for Rocky posted a year later there is a different contact number. Is it worth trying that one (If you haven't already) can post it here if that is ok?Last edited: 2017-07-28 18:47:06 by coralvb

- Believe this dog is possibly in a Lincolnshire pound under the name of Rocky, been there since round Christmas last year.
- 2014-01-08 21:47 Unknown
- Can I just ask if anyone has contacted the pound to let them know that we know who's dog it is but just can't get hold of her?
- 2014-01-06 10:23 Maggie
- I saw the post about the found dog on FB.
I have spoken to owner and sent the link to her - 2014-01-05 22:08 SUSIE
- I've tried googling "cheeky lassie" with the hope a twitter account or something would show but unfortunately nothing ....apart from sites I don't really want to go on if you know what I mean lol but if anyone can think of other social media sites which could me tried to search for owner perhaps it would be an idea. Then again is there anyone from admin or the pound that could release the owners name? Perhaps a search on Facebook could be done? Keep thinking there must be a way to locate the original owner etc come on brains together we can do this and get this fella back to his rightful owner x

- I have reposted on my profile trying to link the two posts and added the info that the mobile number doesn't work and the area he was taken from in the hope that my friends in that area will share and may know of the owner. Worth a try x

- There is a dog with the same name posted on FB in the Lincolnshire pound they said the microchip is possibly from the Warwickshire/ Nuneaton area could it be him?? It reads :
Marianne JacksonLost & Found Pets Nuneaton/Bedworth
30 December 2013
This dog, named ROCKY on his microchip originating from the Warwickshire area, possibly Nuneaton, is currently in a Lincolnshire Pound. We think he is dog ID 43205 on doglost. Unfortunately, the poster cannot be contacted - does anyone know of this dog as a puppy please or remember this dog in the area? He has a full and curly tail. Apparently he was stolen from his original owner, whom we have failed to contact. Thank you.Last edited: 2014-01-05 17:23:04 by Vittoria - 2014-01-05 16:40 Marissa

- Sorry to see that ROCKY UPDATED OWNER NUMBER NEEDED is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (43205)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
