- It turns out that two separate incidents where reported to the police . The driver reported it but even with an incident number the police couldnt tell me what the outcome was, as they didnt know. But there was another person who reported to the police they saw the dog on theside of the A 419 . As a result the Highways agency were informed and we think they collected the body ,I was told any dog without a chip gets disposed of . They are calling me back soon as they know. They better had or I will be on their case and they wont like me , Sleep in peace litle man dream of bunnies XX

- The person who ran the dog over...another dog owner...got in touch this afternoon by looking on doglost...a truely lovely person...who felt so guilty...there was nothing he could do...the dog just ran out and instantly hit his car...He was in total shock...he immediately went to the nearest Police station and reported the incident...he has given us the log details so at least the owner can retrieve his body...sad that Mollychops spent allmorning ringing around and no one connected...but as owner says at least he knows and can retrieve the body...have just rung the person who hit the dog to pass on owners thanks for being a true gentleman and doing the right thing...that made him feel a little better...but still sad..as we all are...

- A call came into admin this morning from a Cheltenham helper saying they saw what they thought was Whistler lying beside the A419 at Stratton Wood. A woman in a car had stopped. This was 7.30 last night. Whistler was wearing a disc, so why hasnt the lady phoned the owner. THis morning there was no sighting of the dog. Ive been on to vets and the council all morning and nothing.
PLEASE CAN THE HELPER WHO SAW THIS CALL ME , NUMBER AT HEAD OFFICE . THANKS
