It's so good to hear that Rusty is none the worse for his mini adventure and that he's been catching up on his beauty sleep this afternoon. He was obviously in town checking out his new winter wardrobe! And a huge WELL DONE and a big THANK YOU to the lovely, caring lady who found him and kept him safe. And it's also good to hear that he will be receiving a new ID tag and chip as a welcome home present. Stay close Rusty and no more running off on your own precious boy ..x

Great news! I do hope that Rusty now has a nice new shiny ID tag on his collar (actually a legal requirement) as well as a microchip because, as we all know, you really can't be too careful these days... Welcome home Rusty!

Rusty's family - have you contacted SDK Environmental & Battersea? I don't 'do' Facebook and so can only keep up with updates here on DogLost. I think it would also be a good idea to call Viking Oak Kennels (based in Borough Green) on 01732 883 468 just in case he's been picked up over the weekend and found himself there. But it's also REALLY important to visit places like Battersea in person as so many lovely Staffies are taken in there. Have you called ALL local vets (use the green tab link - Find any UK Vet) on right-hand side of the DogLost screen). It would also be a good idea to contact Foxgrove Road Veterinary Centre in Beckenham as they provide 24 hours emergency cover for many local vets and I do know as a fact that a dog found wandering in Orpington was actually taken to Foxgrove Rd Vets for treatment (although, in this case, the dog in question - a black GSD - was found in an extremely emaciated state and so the same obviously wouldn't apply to Rusty). Owners can you please update Rusty's DogLost page as well as Facebook as there are many local registered Helpers who don't access Facebook or Twitter. As far as 'Missing' posters are concerned, you really do need to start off with putting up around 100 for starters (& more is better!). Also DogLost are able to send you smaller (4 to an A4 page) mini-flyers direct to your email address. You really don't need to print these in colour but would suggest printing them onto BRIGHT orange paper and handing them out to all and sundry. That way when someone spots Rusty, they will have your contact details to hand rather than having to return to a Missing poster. You need to request the mini-flyers via DogLost Admin on the above number. Good Luck in finding Rusty safe and sound.Last edited: 2012-09-24 21:02:02 by Millys Mum

Sorry to see Sandy is missing. Mily¬s mum is right. Leave no stone unturned. Contact local vets, dog wardens in your area, and rescue centres. Paws and fingers xd for Sandy`s safe return. Keep us posted.

First and foremost, you must call SDK Environmental, the London Borough of Bromley's contracted-out dog warden service on 01753 538819, 01753 538 941 or 0844 4828337. If Rusty has been picked up over the weekend, he may be in holding kennels. As he isn' carrying any ID (presumably no ID tag or microchip?) it's REALLY important that you poster heavily as dogs without any ID can be legally re-homed after 7 days of being found. Is he wearing a collar? If he's friendly, it may be that somebody has found him and has been keeping him safe and warm until the appropriate offices are open again tomorrow morning. Has he also been reported as missing To Battersea Dogs Home?
