Due to her small size she has frequently needed veterinary treatment and I am so worried she will quickly become ill again. Photo is of when she was younger. It is believed that Madge was STOLEN !! Hooray!! Well done, but wish people wouldn't buy dogs without really checking things out and seeing them with (at least) their mother in their home environment. Still, this one had a happy ending and the buyers did the right thing in returning Madge. Hope she has a happy life and gets a microchip! xxxxx

I have just had a call with the FANTASTIC news that Madge is home !!
Following tireless efforts by the owners and her friends they managed to track down the people who had bought her in good faith from the scumbag of a thief.
I'm so happy for her owners and of course for poor little Madge who must have been through a very frightening time.
Welcome home Madge and please stay safe from now on xxxLast edited: 2012-09-30 17:30:09 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Shared on facebook. Someone else has already added it to Sheffield Forum. Have had a look on Gumtree and couldn't see anything matching Madge. I would offer to poster, as this is usually the key to getting dogs back, but it's a little too far for me to travel. If others have time then it would really help Madge's cause, Good luck

Sadly Madge is still missing. The police have been very proactive in helping the owners and are investigating on several leads .

Madge vanished from her garden after someone opened the back gate and it is believed they stole her.
Her owners have contacted the police and they are assisting the owners to find who has Madge.
Stray kennels , dog warden and local radio have been contacted. Owers are postering and will be seeking media coverage.
Madge is currently on a course of medication which she needs to continue with. She is very small for her breed and has seveal health issues which have needed lots of vetinary care.
Her owner is currently on crutches and any help with postering would be gratefully received.
Madge may have been sold on and we need to get as much public awareness for her as possible.
Hoping Madge is back home very soon xx
