hi. we picked up a westie yesterday that no one has reported missing yet. He is a middleaged male, unneutered, not chipped and has a slight limp on his rear right leg. I can send you a photo if you want to have a look.

Hi and thanks for your query, unfortunatly Jack is still missing, we haven`t had any sightings of Jack whatsoever in Halifax or surrounding areas despite front page coverage in our local paper, posters and even a ?500 reward, so we now belive that he has been sold on outside our area. But dispite all this we still live in hope that one day we will find out who stole Jack or get a lead to where he is. We have had a couple of leads that sent us to Shropshire and we checked out the message about a westie found in Liverpool but unfortunatly for us non of these were Jack although the dogs in question were either returned to there owners or rehomed. We strongly belive that Jack was stolen to be rehomed and now the only chance we have of getting him back is by somebody noticing that someone suddenly has got a full grown westie and that the situation seems strange if you understand what I mean! Anyway we will never stop looking until we find out where he is or find out who took him and we are fortunate enough to still have a lot of people looking out for him. The only good thing that has come out of this situation is that is has made a lot of people aware of the amount of dogs that are stolen and lost(including us) and now owners are keeping an eye on their own pets more and so this gives the scum bags who do this less chances to steal our pets. Finally we are grateful for any sightings or leads that come our way and we check every one we get no matter where abouts in the country it is so a BIG THANKYOU!!!!!!!! to everyone who takes the time to look at the website and our story and tell us of any westies that have been found, it makes it a bit easier to know that there are people out there who cares. To anyone else who has lost their dog and is reading this, we may not be able to tell everyone about your personal loss but we have been and will continue to give the website as much publicity as possible in the hope that all our pets get some publicity.

There has been a westie found in Wirral (showing on Dogpages) - not being great at geography i'm not sure how close this is to where Jack went missing. If you need more info then let me know. Hope that Jack turns up safe and well.x
