Just heard from the owner that Poppy is with the breeder. She would like me to move Poppy to reunited and is very glad to know that Poppy is safe.

Help find Poppy...as this is your first post we dont have a number for you. But proceedure on doglost is if you dont like a comment you can click on report this and it will remove off the site to our moderators for consideration...we dont have the time to monitor every post on every dogs page...so this helps us. Misuse of the report this button ie dozens coming in at any one time will mean temporay suspension until the matter can be sorted.

Sharon the information posted below was thought to be correct at the time of posting. You are quite right we need to concentrate on finding Poppy and sort everthing else out once she has been located.

UPDATE: Poppy has still not been returned, the man who probably stole her was found via internet and contacted and wanted to exchange Poppy for money. He never showed up at the meeting point. Please continue to share this poster, as her whereabouts are still unknown and the family is hoping to find witnesses. Thank you!
Ps The information about breeder/owner as written below is not correct and actually is totally irrelevant at the moment. The puppy is in the hands of the thief who tried to sell her for £50 on the Internet, the main objective is to find her asap. Please focus on this and help find Poppy!

I agree this is odd. How did the breeder know the pup was stolen? How did they know who it's been sold too? Maybe they think that the person they sold the pup too had sold her on, so are being a responsible breeder and taking the pup back. As its already a police matter I'm sure it'll be sorted soon and in the best interest of Poppy.

How odd......as Aud40 says, surely this can't be legal behaviour by the breeder? Poor Poppy's owner has already been thro' so much in losing her to a thief in the first place, hope she gets her back soon. But at least Poppy is safe. xx

If owner of Poppy paid for this puppy surly the Breeder has no right to refuse to hand her over,and how does she come to be involved, sounds complicated.might be a police matter.do hope things work out ok.

Got a message from the owner saying the person who bought Poppy has promised to give her back for cash. Photo's have been exchanged and it is definately her however the breeder who Poppy was bought from is picking her up and refusing to let the owner have her back. Right now I don't know why but am trying to find out.

Sorry to hear that Poppy has been stolen I have put her on Stolen/Lost dogs Facebook and on my page.Look North local TV station have done appeals before would be worth contacting them.Do hope Poppy is reunited with you very soon.I have contacted family members who live in the Grimsby area.

Just spoken to the owner. Poppy was stolen from her dog pen inside the house, other items were also taken. The police have issued a crime number. Owner is spreading the word via Facebook, flyers are being handed out and appeals going out on the radio. The authorities have been notified.
