Welcome Home ALFIE - well done everyone xx

Great news. And, yes, Setterfield, Sue Marchant is really helpful to us. Shame that she's one of the presenters who'll be losing her regional show at the end of the year.

I was just about to call her to see how things were going. Glad he has been found and is ok.

just had a call from Tracy - Alfie has been found and passed to East Northants Dog Warden - he is either with them or on the way to the kennels - I have text her both numbers so thta she can locate - he had crossed the A43 and was in a different part of the woods when found

Hi Nik. Fortunately Sue Marchant is a real dog lover and has given him a mention already, I am also in contact with her to update her on the situation. Tracy is out there again this morning, and if no sightings of him soon, I will contact all the local stations and hopefully they will put something out.

Setterville, bypass the news desk and the producers by contacting the non-network presenters: firstname.lastname@bbc.co.uk. You will most likely hit a dog owner/lover who give Alfie a mention. Do the same with the commercial stations.

Have circulated far and wide. Also contacted BBC for the South and East this evening as local stations are networked at this time. Will contact Northants radio stations tomorrow morning if no news forthcoming.
