Hope Jack is home safe and well. Just wondering how close you are to cycle track and if you think there is any chance Jack may have been stolen. We live very close to you (as the crow flies) and close to cycle track. Our dog went missing last July and 2 days later a neighbour showed us footage from their CCTV of a man taking Maisy in the direction of the cycle track. This man had obviously taken her from our garden. We would never have known what had happened to her otherwise - unfortunately Maisy has never been found despite our best efforts. Just wondered if you have any neighbours or know anyone who has CCTV in your area - it might be worth asking. In the meantime, we are looking out for Jack and have told all fellow dog walkers.

Spoke to owner, they feel he may have gone off after a bitch in heat, as their dog was in heat in the house but he could not get to her, or he may have been picked up on the road or gone the other way across fields. He may have gone down a hole or got trapped in a snare. Owner is contacting radio and the paper and I have advised him to poster and check sites on the internet.
