Have been away for the week and only just seen this, so glad to see she is home. Get well soon Florence x
Netty-B
Update on Florence.... She is getting better, but is still stiff and sore, but wanted to play with her toys and also wanted to go for a walk today. But seems to be getting back to her old self. Shame all lost dogs cannot have such a happy ending as Florence has had.
Buds Mum
took posters down along First Avenue from Fatima to Sainsbury's roundabout. Hope FLorence is doing ok, bet she was spoilt last night
twoDs
Fantastic news, well done everyone who helped look for her and put up posters - and also the men who found her and refused the reward.
Abbe
Posters are obviously brilliant, I think if someone found a dog and was of a mind to keep it they might think that their neighbours wouldn't know, maybe don,t walk that way, don,t drive, wouldn,t see it.
With leaflets that same person would know that all their neighbours, the whole street would know, makes it a lot hotter to handle.
Abbe
Netty, that was the best phone call i've had in a long time. I took down the posters in pheasants croft, stackfield ,tanys dell, a couple on the cycle track, anything I could jump out of the car to do. little shop in tanys dell, 1 from opposite lady fatima, but not from that island , fatima/stow roundabout. had to pick up my cat from kews so told them, been to rspca and sains so done them.

Good result everyone !
Netty-B
just had text from owner Lynn, "the vet thinks it is just soft tissue and given her pain killers and anti inflamitry injection. If no better in the morning they will take xrays. She was starving and very happy to be home."Welcome home Florenec and enjoy being spoilt, hope your leg is better soon. Love from all team Harlow on doglost. xxxx
Buds Mum
Omg fantastic news, we will take down posters when we see them on our walk. Hope she is ok.
Netty-B
We have taken about 20+ posters down, but came home because raining hard, so please if you see any can you remove them.Florence was found by three men by the underpass at old harlow, looks like she was trying to make her way home. Lynn got the call around lunchtime and went straight there to meet the men. Reward was refused so its clear they had not kept her waiting for posters and the reward. Florence was very hungry when taken home and at first all seemed okay, then as i made my way round there got a call to say she was limping so was off to vets for a check up, but i got to meet her before she went. As Florence was not wet, dirty etc i would not have thought she had been down a hole, but possible she had been kept somewhere and became too hot to handle so had been put back. As soon as i hear how she is i will let you all know. Everyone who has been invovled in looking postering etc THANK YOU SO MUCH... the family are soooooo very happy.
Netty-B
Good news Florence has been FOUND, off to vets for a check up as limping. More details later.
Abbe
Just got back from doing Mark Hall Moors and the Gowers, have only used half of the leaflets.
Buds Mum
I have checked the Harlow Star online and Florence is in there, hope it brings some news
Netty-B
Thank you Capote, for your mesg and offer of help, hope you have recovered well from your op.What area will you hope to cover? Thanks also to Abbe who met me last night and took leaflets to cover her area, hope to see you later with some laminate posters to put out.
Netty-B
Advert should be in the star today but as yet not got my copy. Lynn put out 70+ posters last night all from Gates to wickes, along to station, up past sainsburys, and back past to stow along the main road, friends and work people have taken posters to put up in their areas, all housing estates and factories backing onto that part of cycle track have been given leaflets through the doors, small shopping hatches have got posters, and they are all down the cycle track where she went missing from. Now we are waiting for that all important call, someone must have seen her, its getting so frustrating hearing nothing!!! Anybody walking that way please keep checking rabbit and fox holes ,ditches etc already been done loads but you know when looking for something it often turns up somewhere that you said you had looked before!!!!(or am i the only one that does that?) Big thank you to all that are helping.
Capote
I haven't been able to help for a while due to recovering from an operation but know only too well the distress of losing a much loved dog. I'll try and get out and about today and spread the word and put up some posters. Thinking of you Lynn x x x
Netty-B
I have just read kimmybears comment and can say that we have put up hundreds of posters around Harlow, over thousand into peoples letterboxes, and about hundred have been handed out. Advert will be in local paper on Thusday, all vets have been visited personally and owners are in almost daily contact with the dog warden. The owners have not stopped since losing Florence, i know Lynn has hardly slept since the friday she went missing, i have never met such a dedicated owner. So if anyone has not seen posters in their area please print them off and put up, there is only so much a handful of people can do!!!!
Buds Mum
Sorry not been able to help with posters & flyers. Have seen lots of posters down cycle track & surrounding areas where i have walked. i am hoping to help tomorrow with postering or flyers. Come on Florence show yourself.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
We need more posters up, not seen that many and whilst leaflets are good, they only get to the houses you put them in and is time consuming. One poster can be seen by hundreds and quickly. Well done with the leaflets though, I know you have worked really hard on them. You are doing good job NettyB.x
Netty-B
Mesg for Abbe, too late when got back tonight to contact you ,but will do so mora(wednesday) If i give you the leaflets and posters maybe you could do your area on your day off. Will call you. Thanks
Netty-B
Just a quick update, owner Lynn and i have put leaflets through several areas today and also covered a large area of templefields with posters and leaflets into some places. The epping dog warden has been called and has all the details of Florence. Despite all the hard work that has been put in there is still no word of Florences whereabouts, which is strange, a dog cannot just vanish, holes have been checked and double checked what more can be done!! We will continue to put leaflets through doors and hope that call comes soon and she is safely home.
Abbe
I only have a tiny bit of credit on my phone 'till fri.have to save that for when out with the dogs. My mob is 07763909737. Thurs is a day off for me.Why have there been no sightings?
Netty-B
Thanks Roach, the templefields units are on our list to poster and leaflet in the evening as will be easier. Have already spoken to some people in them when in wooded area that backs onto them. Herts dog warden been contacted, not sure re Epping one, will pass that mesg on, but as is micro chipped would have thought that she would be scanned and home if they had her. I have just printed off another 200 leaflets ready to go out,but as this cycle track leads into the park, she could have come out in so many areas from there so need to poster all around these housing estates.Plus people come from different areas to the park especially at weekends so really could have been taken from the area. Word needs to spread and if anybody walking around does not see a poster please could you print one off or contact me for some to put up in their area. Many, many thanks.
Dog W Harlow
Hi, just to let you know that i have spoken to the Dog Warden at Harlow DC, and that there has been no reports or sightings of Florance reported the them. Have you tried Epping Forest DC and East Herts DC to see if they have picked her up? Also might be an idea to put leaflets in the commercial units which run along that cycle path.
Netty-B
Owners are doing so much to get their poor Florence back and with both working and having a young family, plus hubby has injured his foot they are finding it hard to responed to all texts and time to go on the computer etc plus doglost is not the only site they have registered on, so on their behalf i appologise for lack of response.I did explain this all to kimmybear when i dropped off the leaflets to her last night.I called them and offered my help and so got direct response and also said i would put updates on here.I dont want people thinking they don`t care, because you couldn`t be further from the truth. Leaflets have been printed in the hundreds and as i said on last post people who can help deliver them, please contact me 07771866317 to get them.Parts of Tanys dell are done, altham grove is done, stackfield, broomfield, peasants croft, rest of tanys dell are in hand, glebelands , dovehousecroft and chantry are sorted too. and hope Abbe will contact me today for some and do markhall moors. Lots of estates are close by so still need more help PLEASE!!! We cannot understand how she has just vanished into thin air, we have been searching the area very thoughly on several occasions, handed out leaflets to all dog walkers we have seen, posters are up in the areas, but NOTHING.Please try to help this family find Florence, so they can get some sleep and rest that they so deserve. Thanks.

Have texted owner three times and emailed, but sadly no response. So glad Netty has managed to receive response and is on the case. Well done, Netty. Have delivered leaflets to Altham Grove tonight. Concerned re Harlow Mill rail line, but hopefully she wouldn't go there. It is very possible someone has picked her up and doesn't know what to do about it. Dog warden needs to respond now! Very bad customer care.
Abbe
Can def put leaflets through, let me know where to get them and where you want them distributed.
Netty-B
owners have printed off some small leaflets to go through doors, i am at the moment printing off more.If anyone can help put leaflets through doors of area Florence went missing that would be great you can contact me on 07771866317 for these leaflets. Please also print off the doglost poster and put up in your area as she could be anywhere!!!!!!!!! Many thanks.
houndlover
I live in the Potter st area, but walk my dog over the common every day, will keep my eyes peeled for little Florence. Will also pass on to other dog walkers i see. I do hope she is found soon,if there is anything I can do please just ask.
Netty-B
Mesg for Abbe, maybe you could help with putting leaflets through the doors round your way, and Tanys Dell, someone must of seen her. Will get some smaller leaflets done if no news this afternoon, meanwhile you are helping by walking round the area and asking people if seen her , the more who know the more ears and eyes are out there, thank you so much.
Netty-B
Owner has just texted me to say no news from dog warden as yet, has contacted east herts dog warden as well and left details. They will be out looking with their other dog again soon.Owner is working from home today so are around to make and receive calls. As i said before they are a wonderful family, devoted to their pets and deserve to get Florance back, so please help spread the word. They are waiting for more waterproof posters to arrive, should be here Tuesday. Have checked all rabbit and fox holes and been calling all the time, maybe she is so tired that she is asleep down one and not heard!! Will be retracing their steps again, as they have done loads of times since her disapperance, lets hope strike lucky today.

Abbe, you are a helper! Just by posting and keeping a look out. Thank you. Might be an idea to scent where lost back to home, just in case, but I get the feeling this dog knows it's way home, Netty? How about rabbit holes? They are in those woods along the cycle track. If so, hopefully he will get skinny and pop back out soon. If checks with council and Highways are okay, then it is very possible someone has this girl. Poster like mad and the DogLost poster will have confidential telephone number as well, so may be better to use than current one. Let's find this baby!
Abbe
Hi, I'm not down as a helper but only because I can't print off posters. I am in Mark Hall Moors and did text owners as soon as I saw their posters this morning while walking my dogs before work. If I can do anything I will. I use that cycle track every day with my two.Let me know if I can help.
Netty-B
Hi, Florence is a full BT you are right twoDs, owner could not find BT`s on list so just put her on as cross. I have text most of team Harlow and alot of people are now aware she is missing. The owners are doing everything possible to get her back, they have contacted all vets, left mesgs with various, places not open until Monday, and have postered the area she went missing from and will be putting up more if no news on Monday. They have been out day and night looking for her, all they can do know is keep their fingers crossed that someone has taken her in for the weekend until they contact the dog warden. Florence had a collar and tag on with her phone number, but as nobody has rang we think the collar may have come off. Poasters have been left at both gypsy sites and they have said will contact owner if they see anything. Florence comes from a lovely family, and she should have found her way home ok, so if you know of anyone who has just got a BT in the last few days please phone doglost as it could be Florence. If no news on Monday will need lots and lots of posters up all over town to make her too hot to handle. Hurry home Florence your family are missing you so much!!!
