- Other Info THIS IS NOT MY DOG, WE HAVE ONLY SIGHTED HIM/HER TODAY: Dog seems very scared and is running around crying and barking. He/she is not happy to go towards people but tries to run away.

- there have been no further reported sightings of this dog - it is a very popular dog walking area so I think we would have had more calls if it as still loose

- Hi Ellie_Haines. I'm sure admin will email you some info sheets, but you need to try and gain her trust. That means avoiding eye contact, keeping as low to the ground as possible and perhaps throwing some food to her, gradually trying to get her to come closer. Try not to make any sudden movements. Is there any chance she is trying to get you to follow her (i.e. Lassie style?) maybe trying to alert you to something??

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
