  • Other Info Choco is a very nervous dog. She has been getting better, however if you spot her please DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CATCH, just phone mike or I as soon as possible and let us know where you have seen her! She has run away before and was found in the village, so we are hoping she will be in a similar area again as it's close to home.

Hi

Sounds like you have it under control there.

If there is anything I can do please let me know.
Not sure if you still have my number so I will text you again.

Stay safe Choco

Also sounds like she is staying your side of that awful road.

GOOD LUCK

I apologise for having not posted on here yet! Thank you to all of you who are looking for our Choco!

I do have some updates for you all! The night she went missing mike saw her in the woods outside the hamlton arms, however she turned tail and ran down school lane! However we saw her on the nursery last night! So she is sort of home.... However the nursery is a good few acres with LOTS of hiding places....

Tonight we are rigging a few traps to try and see if we can maybe get her, or work out her movements ..... We have left one of the glass house doors open a jar with sand down to see if she maybe will go in to her bed at the bottom. We are also leaving the gate to our garden from the nursery open with sand down and pointed the automatic lights sensor to the food bowl in the garden to see If we can catch her, or even just a glimpse of her! We have also rigged a rope from the gate through one of our windows to see if we can maybe catch her in our garden! Crude I know, however there is hope we may catch her as the food we left out last night had been eaten.... However we may just be feeding the foxes for now!

A little more info about her.... She is a perfect dark chocolate lab, she is quite skinny, however no where near as skinny as she was when she last went walkabout! She has a very bright turquoise collar on with a big heavy flower that clanks a lot. She is a really very nervous dog. Se does know her name, however she usually freezes when she hears it as human contact is still very very scary! She loves children and likes other dogs, however she is picky about which ones she wants to say hello to! She is nervous of boy dogs from what we have found. She is an ex-breeder from a puppy farm, so she is a difficult dog.... She's hasn't yet got the courage to take treats even from mike and I yet (unless it's fatty meat trimmings from a Sunday roast, but who can resist that!)

Thank you to all who are helping look for her!

Hannah and Mike!

Just got back Janet! been looking around Elsted, Bepton and surrounding areas, but I would think Choco is lying low somewhere and keeping away from people and other dogs - a lot of people on Iping/Stedham commons this morning, noticed a poster on the main pathway off the car park, is it possible that one could be put on the path to the right and across the road? Hopefully Choco will stay near home as she did last time and be found soon xxx
