- Hi everyone sorry I have not replyed to comments before but I now have a spare 5 mins after everything and I would like to introduce myself I am skye and ceasars mum.i would like to thank everyone for all there comments and good wishes we r over the moon to have skye home safe and she will now not be going anywhere she has been through far to much to even think about putting her through anymore.she has settled back in straight away and enjoying being spoilt with a new bed collar and everything.it does look like she may have to lose a little bit of her tail but thats nothing.so apart from that she does not seem to have been affected to much by the ordeal.at this present moment she is playing on the floor with dad and a toy pheasant. Now it time to reunite her with her brother ceasar we will find him one day.
Thanks to everyone - 2013-02-22 23:13 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- I am over the moon about Skye getting home! As has been said, an awful lot was going on and finally, everything paid off. And, we also believe, owners have found a way to keep Skye with them. I am so glad as it was distressing for them having to part in the first place. But now, we have a fantastic result. Now we have to find Ceaser. xxx

- Its great to see Skye in the blue after many months of investigation following leads and just not giving up.
As Maggie has said we cannot say too much but hope in time we will be able to tell the full story.
I can say that the investigation involved a number of police forces and it is still continuing. - 2013-02-22 00:08 digbysmum

- Yes, I believe there is a connection. Also Tallulah, Coco, Titch and Coby were taken by women. And how many more that are not on DogLost? Wish we had news on Skye and Caeser. Please keep looking. x

- It sounds like it could be the same person I think as well,Toby's Mum do hope the police are on to this, how many more have been taken in this way.Do hope they are all found safe.x x

- Could there be a connection between the disappearence of Rizzo, Crossbreed puppy and these 2 Cockers (Skye and Caesar) all have been stolen by a woman in a Mercedes with conterfeit money/counterfeit number plates this week. Two different police forces but I believe neighbouring ones at that.Is it worth them cross checking, this could be part of a big scam and may give more clues about the location of where they could have ended up. Really hope these 2 lovelies are found soon x

- I do hope these 2 were neutered. The only safeguard for the welfare of rehomed dogs is to have them neutered first. Then the unscrupulous will not want them.

- Owner lives in Cambridge with health restrictions and we need posters up in Clacton and Cambridge. Please can anyone help, even a bit? We also need to share on anything and everything we can. This is a very sad story as owner didn't want to part with dogs, but had no choice and is very worried about them. If we can get them returned, they will be placed with a rescue where they will be safe and rehomed. Thank you. x

- Putting photos on now. Owner unable to keep dogs due to health reason and sold to woman who turned out to be a fraud. Police informed but we need to trace these dogs asap. Clacton address was give by woman, but obviously, may not be correct, however, she could have a link with Clacton on Sea, so we need to make these fur babes very hot in that area and in fact anywhere.
