Yes Lesley/reggiemollieros, I sent email to you and Dan, wasn't sure if you were related or not!
Dan
I had a look at the dog that had been picked up by Brent dog warden and it's not Bruno, When i first put Bruno up here as lost, Lost dogs phoned me asking me when was he lost and they said we have a dog of his description in if you wanna take a look at the picture and that was the same dog they thought Bruno was, I'll keeping phoning the local dog wardens and keeping searching for him.
DogLostreggiemollieros
Dan, it says on Brent's website that they register all dogs picked up here on Doglost which is really good. I would phone them anyway but I think this is the dog they refer to on the post by Abbalish picked up on 10th.

I had emailed Battersea about Bruno last night which is why Ithink they have copied me into the email they sent to you today with the report details. My actual name is Lesley (reggiemollieros is the 3 dogs' names). Keep going Dan you are doing a great job. Last edited: 2012-10-19 09:53:27 by reggiemollieros

Dan after you have followed up on the dog collected by Brent on 10th it would be worth contacting the others below although ALL dogs picked up in London by dog wardens are meant to make a report to Battersea. I took the info below off Brent's page.
It is advisable to contact surrounding Local Authorities in case your pet strays into another borough:

Camden: 020 7974 5976 / out of hours: 0207 974 4444

Report now made with BDCH, ref 295623.
Brent animal warden pickedup a SBT but they describe as red/brindle. May be worth a shot? picked up on 10th.
Dan
Reggie couldn't remember if I filled out that form on batter-sea so have done it now just in case I didn't many thanks
Dan
My Mum had another phone call While I was at work Thursday night from a women saying she had seen a dog of Bruno's description near Roe Green Park running towards the back of kwik fit near Old Kent Lane on Wednesday evening But she phoned on Thursday evening to tell us I finished work at 2 this morning and went out looking still no sign, more posters put up Thursday evening where the women said she saw he running to and said if she see's him again she would phone us.

Keep up the detective work, Dan......did you leave posters at/near the shop involved? It's also worth going back to the road concerned at different times of the day, and put flyers thro all their doors too. A neighbour of the person who may have Bruno must have seen/heard him, surely? I am keeping a look out still, hope for good news soon. And have you looked on gumtree etc in case he's for sale on there? x
DogLostreggiemollieros
I posted on Battersea Dog and Cat Home Facebook wall as they have lots of people looking on there, and they said to make sure you have filled this form. http://www.battersea.org.uk/help_advice/lost_dogs_cats/lost_dogs_cats_line/lost_report_form.html#tab_1 (am sure you have but just passing on their feedback)
DogLostreggiemollieros
How annoying. I really hope she goes in the shop soon and calls you back. I will keep sharing. Did you try the local newspaper? They are not keen on lost dog stories but maybe they would as you need to find the woman? I just put an appeal on the Mayhew page and shared on Twitter asking for the woman to call again. Dan
I had got in contact with the number that was passed on and it ending up being a shop keepers number where the women that saw Bruno she had gone in to the shop and had asked the shopkeeper to use his phone to ring about a missing dog the only chance I have now of getting this women's number is if she goes back into the same shop, the shopkeeper said he will take her number down and ring me with it, I rang mayhew and battersea again yesterday and they said they have no dog of his description brought in, I also rang harrow council as well and they haven,t picked him up, where Bruno was spotted near fryent way I have put up posters and knocked on most doors but most people where coming to the door or weren't in.
DogLostreggiemollieros
One other thing, did you visit Battersea and the Mayhew? Or could you email them Bruno's photo? Maybe you have done this already. This is the email address for Battersea LostDogs@battersea.org.uk & Mayhew is info@mayhewanimalhome.org
DogLostreggiemollieros
Just another thought Dan and you might want to check this with Doglost admin before you do it but sometimes offering a reward (without saying how much) can bring people forward. It awful that is the case but if you are postering again that might be worth considering.

Hi Dan
It does sound really odd that a number was passed on! If you know the street can you not print off some posters & put them through the doors & maybe knock on a few explaining your dilemma good luck!
DogLostreggiemollieros
Sorry to hear that Dan, I was just checking in hoping he was back. Have you tried putting the number into a search engine like google? I do it all the time and sometimes you get lucky. Some finders are not on the ball at all and they think the dog warden is actually the dog catcher so they hold back. Will keep sharing. The most logical place to take him would be the Mayhew rather than Battersea but logic does not always take place. Last edited: 2012-10-18 00:03:23 by reggiemollieros

Really odd.....wonder how the woman knew the finders number, she must know them well?? Did you get her number so you can ask her for an address?? Is her number stored in your phone? Fingers crossed for news tomorrow.
Dan
Many thanks Lesley I Have no Idea why they haven't put him in a shelter or haven't called the dog warden but I have contacted all the shelters and wardens and no trace of him their, The Women that did see him in fryent way passed on a number to me to contact which could be the people that have him but I tried phoning and no answer keeps going to voice-mail so I left a message with them still no phone back, I'm gonna keep trying the number tomorrow fingers crossed someone answers.

I think this is NW9 London in which case the Region needs changing to South East (NorthWest means UK not NW London).
Sharing on FB and twitter.
lesleyjane
That's good news....I live right near Fryent Way, I hope he is still safe...but why didn't finders contact Dog Warden or put up posters themselves??Hope you get good news soon, I will continue to look out for him and spread the word anyway.
Dan
I had someone Phone me today and they said they had seen him near fryent way, And that a family had taken him in,I have no information on what house number just the road and don't know if the family still have him I have put up some posters around where he was spotted and hopefully get a phone call in the next 24hours
lesleyjane
I am local, notice he's been missing a while now. Any details of circumstances/location? Then will spread the word amongst local dog people. Brent dog warden is great, if not already done so please inform. Shame he has no id.
