- yeah so so sad me dad walks up the shop 1 early morning and sees this little doggie looking at him as if to tell me father that hes lost n wants hes mum back so dad bening dad knew he was lost so my typical dad asks around if the dog belongs to anyone and no one knows where dave comes from so dad takes him home and wakes us all up in the morning with this lil greyish ball of fluff called dave.first thing dave does is smile and knows right away that he is with people who care for him and will find where hes mum is.of course me dad already haveing 2 dogs they look at dave as if to say 0i who are you in doggie lanague and dave replys im lost and need my home back and my dogs of course give dave the nod of approval .by this time my mums thinking nooooooooo more dogs lol " dad would keep a stray if he had his way"anyway we spend the day thinking wheres dave come from i google things n find this site then a Miracle happens i get in touch with STEPH.she does the hard part searching browseing phone calls "there were a lot im sorry about your fone bill"by this time all my family includeing the gran kids have taken to dave we took pics he had some food mum loved him after 4 hours of dave being there.the fone rings "its STEPH" WE FOUND THE OWNER.mum is like phew lol dads like awww, the owner turns up daves face lights uo the owner starts to cry ."emotional rolercoaster what a day...steoh called broke the sad news to us told me family ..and would you belive a little scruffy doggie called dave actuly made an impact on my family cause when i told em i could actuly see mum n dad welling up.and now me sitting here trying to ecplain something that is very important to each n every one of us. is that these animals weather they be loas or you own we all know how we become attached to em but never in our wildest dreams would we of thught something like dave would come along.sorry all for my explaining..but to have spent that precious 9 hours with dave and for my family and dave to have bonded like they did is a moment we will rember for the rest of our days.im shocked to have heeard that daves not with us no more but hes in a better place.and hes not alone anymore.as i finsih up with what i have to say im gonna end this on the most important point. which is you people all you people that come to this site all the people who search all the people that take the time and make the effort to reunite .you know them little lost souls who roam around depend on people like you guys n girls to keep up what you do ...STEPH it was realy nice meeting you and from our conversations we had i know youll feel it to .your a great lady steph and i salute and admire you for what you do done and will continue to do ..dave it was a pleasure mate and as you run around out there free at last you will always have a place in our memorys .....R.I.P Dave xLast edited: 2013-07-30 20:30:22 by mrcheeky

- This has really upset me. Poor sweet Dave and Bowie had a bad start in life until they were sold to their loving owner, only for them both to be stolen back again by the same person who sold them (see previous posts). It is then the trail was lost until recently, on that beautiful day that Dave was found and reunited. Such an amazing story. And now happiness has turned to sadness. But, we must remember that Dave got home! He got home! I am so often in awe of the most amazing co-incidences that happen on this site, none more so than in Dave's story. No one can ever tell me this was not meant to be - for it was totally meant to be that Dave got home and was surrounded by the love he should have had all along. That love helped guide him on his way to heaven. This is one little chappie who has definitely earnt his little wings in such a short little life. I am so angry at those who caused him, Bowie and his owner so much suffering. Dave is at peace now, safe in God's arms, without pain. I just wish he could have stayed longer with his owners here on earth, but some are so special they are just too good for this world. God bless you precious and your sister Bowie, wherever she may be. xxx

- I've just read the posts below - I am often in awe of the amazing stories we have on the dogs pages - and this is one of them. What are the odds? We have so many lovely people out there and it is when a dog goes missing or is found, they come to light. Mr Cheeky and your Dad - you are two of these lovely people. Well done and thank you. Amazing. Thank you Aunt Steph for letting me know and I have notified SanBarn who was involved with BKosi at the start - she will be over the moon. I really hope we can locate Bowie now too. On a wing and a prayer ..... God bless you both sweet pups. xxx (Mr Cheeky there is also a main DogLost FB page and Steph is on West London's).x

- Mr Cheeky, no but why don't you message one the Admins on DogLost facebook pages if you want (try DogLost Hertfordshire or DogLost West London - as we will see that and the co-ords for those have been dealing with these two dogs) or if you just want to chat publicly, go to these pages and join and chat as you wish. x

- 2013-07-06 08:18 BKosi
- Just to clarify, the other dog is his bigger half-sister. Not brother. LOL... His brother is safe with a good friend if mine. Bowie is still missing. Yeah, good idea to hang up few poster in this area about Bowie. Anyway Dave has settle in nicely. Just waiting for my Vet to give me a time to visit. I have booked him for a nice appointment at the dog grooming salon today. :-)

- So glad Dave is back with you...and so glad you registered him on Doglost all those months ago....so some kind person who found him could help...it was due to your description of Dave latching onto people and never leaving their side that prompted the kind finder to email us photos...as that's exactly what he did do his dad that found him...we don't know what has happened to him in the last long months....but glad we were able to assist in reuniting Dave with you.....Special TX to Steph and MrCheeky for making this happen....And for Mrcheeky to spend time searching on the internet to get this dog back to its rightful owner...well done MrCheeky!

- Hi, just to let you know that Dave is home. Tmw I will go to the Vet to give him a full check up as he is currently very thin, got sore ear and I suspect some bladder problems cos he can't stop peeing. But all will be reveal tmw after my vet visit. He also got very bad breath, I think due malnutrition cos he lost 3 teeth as well. So hopefully the vet will help me to get him back in form and health. Now giving him a lovely nice bath cos he also got fleas. :-(
I don't understand how they can get my dog in such situation. :-(
(Or any dog at all) there are lot of different ways to get help. :-) - 2013-07-05 20:59 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- @poorlittlepepper: I have signed the petition too.
Just to inform you all... Out of this bad situation, my little bluecat Peppa has given birth to 3 kitten. :-)
It's make me always happy to see new creatures coming into the world. Peppa hid them in my wardrobes. LOL.. I had to get warm blanket to avoid getting the little one sick from the cold wood floor. After all the bad luck i have, its nice to see a little glimmer of hope to give more love to the animals in needs. I pray everyday that Bowie and Dave are getting back to me one day.

- Hi guys, the lady came on Friday into my office and assaulted me. Demanded more money from me for the puppies but i refused. I have now another crime reference number for the lady who stole my puppies. Wish me luck, that there will be a good outcome of my beating up from her. Sigh.. Looking totally awful with my blue swollen eyes and head. But i didn't give up, i am not that easy to scare though. Now i can add exortion to her criminal tree! Awaiting to hear from CJ.

- Have put Dave & Bowie up on Facebook Doglost West London.
- 2012-10-19 10:26 reggiemollieros
- It could be they will try the other sites too, such as pre-loved and pets4homes. It is terrible how easy these sites make it to sell on stolen pets.
- 2012-10-19 10:24 reggiemollieros
- Did you contact gumtree? They are not known for being quick to help but they should have details of the person who placed the advert and also as you have a crime reference number there should be some way of getting them to release the info if not to you then to the police.
- 2012-10-17 22:54 Angel
- I couldn't agree more poorlittlepepper. I've just signed the e petition and passed it on. Bkosi, as you know who has stolen your dogs I hope the police are doing everything to get them back ASAP.
- 2012-10-17 15:58 poorlittlepepper
- The sale of animals on Gumtree and other Internet sites should be banned. Please sign this petition http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/25678 There are a lot of people campaigning about this. I wish I had five minutes alone with this thief.
- 2012-10-17 14:51 BKosi
- Yesterday i found them on gumtree and i contacted the gumtree and reported the person. They are now no more on the gumtree. I hope they have taken the advert down in time and they are still with the person who create the adverts. Sigh... It's hard work to chase and locate them but at least i know where i can look for them on a regular basis.
- 2012-10-17 14:49 BKosi
- Yes, i have got a crime reference number. We also found out who did that and now we have contacted a solicitor. But the doggies are still gone to whereever got them now. Sigh... Hope we can find them.
