Hi I work at Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and spoke to owner today - infact it was me who told her about this site. We have Cassies details and will match to any hand-ins or reports x

Hi. I am just down the road from you - the bottom end of Hammersley Lane. Check Maccabee Kennels near Princes Risborough, as dog warden normally takes strays there. Also check Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and notify ALL local vets, sorting office, refuse collectors. Get up HUNDREDS of posters - especially outside nearby schools as kids love to get involved. Will get some posters up down my way. Alison x

Our pointer also named Cassie went missing when out with the dog walker, we searched & searched ensuring we scented and also left a coat of ours at the point of where she was lost (she had never been there before). The weather was appalling rain but the next day we found her curled up on the coat - worn out but very happy to see us. Pointers have an amazing sense of smell so do scent EVERYWHERE. I do know our Cassie had been seen about 5 miles away from where she was originally but get the posters up, the word around and fingers crossed she will be found safe & sound if she does not return of her own accord. We don't live too far away so will keep an eye on the search and if need be we can join in on Sunday - sorry we work the other days of the week. Good luck xxx
