Excellent! Yes, well done to the school girls and owner's friend. Very, very pleased about this news. Welcome home sweet Rizzo. So hope Rizzo gets a chip - he is one very lucky boy. x

her friend spotted the car in Brentwood high street...did a u turn and stopped the car...said you have my friends dog...he denied it...when faced with the evidence he said he would ring her...and sure enough 10 minutes later he did...oh coincidence he suddenly remember his wife had picked the dog up...so they met up

HMM

It would be nice to also find out the names of the school girls who witnessed this first of all and had the sense to take down the number plate. Without there quick thinking we would not have the number plate to watch for.

Amazing! One sharp eyed friend is apparently the reason for this. Absolutely well done! Hopefully, more detail will come to light later on. x

I have just heard on Twitter the FANTASTIC news that RIZZO is now back home with her owners. I do not know full story but wanted you to know the happy ending. I met the owner yesterday afternoon when she was handing out posters. She was doing everything she could to find RIZZO. She must be exhausted & overwhelmed to let you guys know yet xx

There are too many women stealing dogs just recently and Mercedes' seem to keep cropping up. Woman description is different CJ, but could well well be linked. Too many coincidences I feel. (Mind you hair colours change and so it seems, do the car registrations). Counterfeit money? I'd say definite link. (I want to comment on wrinkles but will contain myself).x
SanBarn
The colour of the vehicle is grey and the description of the woman is blond, in her 40's with lots of wrinkles. x

C.J - Could there be a connection between the disappearence of Rizzo and that of Cockers Skye and Caesar all have been stolen by a woman in a Mercedes with conterfeit money/counterfeit number plates this week. Two different police forces but neighbouring ones at that.Is it worth them cross checking, this could be part of a big scam x
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
lets get as much info out as possible. number plate is false and no details on this vehicle but we can get eyes out to try and spot it. So please share on twitter etc and find this little one and get Rizzo back to her owners.
SanBarn
I have spoken with owner and Rizzo escaped out of front door at 8.30am yesterday when builders left it open, builders tried to catch her but she hid under a car outside the Spread Eagle pub, some girls on their way to school managed to coax her out but a woman pulled up in a Mercedes C class and took the dog saying she would take to a vet, girls were suspicious and took details of the car. DW and police has been informed and owner does have a CRN.xx
