- Michelle was told today that a customer in her local sandwich shop is feeding two stray cats, we are hoping Louie could be one of them, the shop now has a poster and the local area is being postered too. Fingers crossed. Louie is now registered with the National Pet Register, My Moggy.com and Animal Search. xxx

- We have a lead on a cat very like Louie, even have photo's which aren't very clear but seems to be very like Louie and worth a closer look, but the woman who is feeding it about 7 mins drive away from where he went missing, won't let Louie's owner have a look at it. Very strange, she has even blocked everyone from her facebook page so we can't get intouch with her anymore. Not sure where Louie's owner stands on this one? Any advice please?

- Dont know where the posters are being taken down in this case but if it is on Council trees ,posts etc,I found it helps to actually ask people on roads you want the posters on to put one on either their gate or a post in front garden. Most people are quite helpful and will also put one in their car.

- Thank you for the links skippy, I will certainly look into them. I have registered Louie on Animal Search and My Moggy. I have emailed our local Metro Newspaper to see if they will do a story too following on from Megan's story about her condition. I have contacted the local vets and rescues and left his details. We have a couple of people postering but the posters are getting taken down as soon as they are put up. xxx

- Catchat website has a great action plan of things you canshould do. Many of these will be the same as for finding a lost dog, - but link is here if there is anything you haven't thought of yet - http://www.catchat.org/lost.html
They also have a list of local resuces all of who might be contacted if a cat is found - http://www.catchat.org/adoption/tynewear.html
I also assume you have contacted all your local vets - make sure they all get his details. Cats tend to travel a little less than dogs so lots of fliers through local doors can be really effective. Encourage neighbours to check garages and sheds to make sure he hasn't got himself shut in somewhere. Keep an eye on windowsills of any empty houses or houses where neighbours may be on holiday.
Good luck with your hunt - you are doing all the right things! He might just waltz in again at any time. They can be little monkeys when then want to be! - 2012-10-18 20:41 sdodd308
- Michelle, Megan's mam is printing posters to put up in the local shops, library, community centre, pet shop etc incase someone has picked Louie up and is unaware he is a much loved family pet. I am sending her some laminated posters to use in her surrounding streets so they won't get damaged with the rain. xxx

- Please help us find Louie, who is one and a half years old and went missing on 14th October 2012 from his home in Willington Quay.
He is a neutered, tabby tom with white feet, chin and belly, and his tail has 2 distinctive black bumble bee like rings on the end.
Louie is a very friendly, very cuddly with fluffy tail.
Unfortunately he isn't microchipped and wasn't wearing a collar or tag when he went missing as he normally stays in the house.
His young owner Megan, who is allergic to sunlight, daylight, and certain interior lighting is devastated that Louie hasn’t returned home. For Megan’s sake please help us find Louie, please contact us with information you might have not matter how small on 07427508622. - 2012-10-18 15:03 sdodd308
